To Delaney's relief, the cottage Ron had brought them to was the safe house Bill and Fleur were staying in for the sake of staying hidden from Death Eaters. Bill and Fleur quickly accepted them, once ensuring they weren't imposters. Though Bill did show some disappointment towards Ron for leaving Harry and Hermione.

A week had gone by, and Delaney had made small progress with Ron each day. She could tell that he wanted to go back, he was just too stubborn to admit it to her.

"Ron, Ron," Delaney whispered, shaking his shoulder to wake him up.

"What?" he grumbled, rolling onto his side.

"It's almost noon, get up. Fleur made lunch," Delaney answered, now moving her voice back to a normal volume.

"Wake me up when it's dinner," Ron grumbled, burrowing himself further in his blanket.

"Fine, you asked for it," Delaney chuckled to herself, grabbing the edge of Ron's blanket and pulling upwards. This caused Ron to spill out of the blanket and onto the floor.

"Oi! What the bloody hell was that for?" Ron shouted, quickly standing to his feet and brushing himself off.

"I told you to get up, didn't I?" Delaney giggled.

"If my brother wasn't in love with you I would have stopped being your friend ages ago," Ron narrowed his eyes, pointing his finger at her.

"Ah, now you know you love me," she latched her arm around his shoulders. "Won-Won."

"That's it!" Ron shouted after her as she quickly ran down the stairs.

"Oh, you finally got Ron up," Bill grinned from that table.

"It only took throwing him out of bed," Delaney laughed, sitting down at the table across from Fleur.

"Well, at least we can all have lunch together," Fleur grinned, rubbing her hand across Bill's back.

"You two were in on it?" Ron asked with an attitude in his voice.

"Well yeah, I was the one that asked Delaney to go wake you up," Bill grinned.

"Unbelievable. It really is the ones closest to you that turn on you," Ron mumbled, scooping some of Fleur's shepherd pie on his plate.

"Need I remind you why we're here?" Delaney asked, raising her eyebrows suggestively at Ron.

"Oh, shut it. Don't act like you didn't come along just to bring me back to them," Ron said between his bites.

"I came because I owe it to Fred to ensure his brother is not a complete idiot. Besides, I know I can get you to go back," Delaney shrugged.

"Like hell, you can.".

"Ron, do you really think we're all that stupid? We can clearly tell you want to see them just as much as I do," Delaney glared at him in between her bites.

"Okay, well why don't we enjoy some lunch before Fleur and I have to go to Muriel's?" Bill interrupted.

"Why do you two have to go to Muriel's?" Ron asked with a mouthful of food.

"Because it's Christmas Eve and Mum wanted to see us. You two are welcome to come. We just have to be very careful since Delaney is one of the Undesirables and you are always seen with her and Harry," Bill clarified tinkering with the radio on the counter.

"No, it's alright. I think I speak for the both of us when I say that I'd rather stay here than risk that danger on the family," Ron answered.

Though Delaney wished more than anything that she could see everyone again—Lupin, Tonks, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Ginny, George, Charlie, and Fred—but she couldn't put them in that much danger. She would never be able to forgive herself if her visit to them was the reason they were harmed, or worse killed.
