Mikayla says goodbye to Grawp, dodging branches as she makes her way to the Acromantula Hollow to visit Aragog and his family. Hagrid made Aragog promise not to harm Mikayla in any way or allow his family to hurt her, which has led to an unlikely friendship between her and the giant spiders. Even in the golden hours of the morning, the Acromantula Hollow is the depiction of darkness, no light penetrates the misty dome shaped web at the very centre of the hollow, where Aragog stood weakly, his pincers clapping together at the sight of the blonde entering the dark hollow. "Hello Aragog, how are you feeling today?" She questions him as she approaches him carefully, "not well, Black." Aragog admits in his eerie yet weak voice.
"I brought some grubs for you, and some meat for your family." Mikayla tells him as she grab the trunk out of her bag, enlarging it once again before and magically hand out the food. She wanted to keep her distance from Aragog's family to prevent tempting them to attack her since she knew Aragog has had trouble controlling them lately. "That is very kind of you, Black." Mosag's haunting voice sounds from Mikayla's left causing her to jump in surprise, "it's no trouble at all." Mikayla smiles politely at the Queen of the Forbidden Forest Acromantulas. "Hagrid will drop in tomorrow, I've got to go now." Mikayla smiled and waved at the large spiders, before speed walking out of the hollow due to the feeling of them crawling all over her.
As she walked through the forest back to Hagrid's hut, Mikayla spotted some thestrals, luckily she had some extra meat left over from the acromantulas. "Hi there," Mikayla jumped slightly before seeing a shoeless Luna standing in front of a thestral, "hey Luna, what are you doing out here so early?" I ask her as I take out the meat and begin tossing it towards the baby thestrals. "I just say them flying when I was in the courtyard and decided to come down." Luna explained in her dreamy voice, it helped Mikayla relax somewhat after being in the hollow. "What about you?" Luna questioned, "Oh I was just doing some jobs for Hagrid, saw them, and thought I'd feed them with the left overs." Mikayla smiles over at her. "You're hiding Mikayla." Luna states, her eyes not moving from the thestrals, "no, I'm not." Mikayla argues instantly like a stubborn child. "You are." Luna rebuttals, pausing before going on to add to her argument, "you're afraid of making mistakes, your pushing your friends away, and you are constantly moving so you don't have to sit down with your thoughts and process what has happened to you."
Mikayla looks down at her feet, she knows Luna is right, and she's grateful that the Ravenclaw was so blunt with her, when everyone else seemed to be walking on eggshells. "How, how did you know?" Mikayla asked there was tears swimming in her eyes as her icy breath shook, emitting small wisps of mist in the cold air. "Because I did the same when I lost my Mum." Luna looked over at Mikayla, seeing the Gryffindor so small and vulnerable is not something she is used to. Luna gives Mikayla a hug, Mikayla holds onto her tightly, mumbling her thanks to the Ravenclaw. "I've got to go now Luna, but thank you." Mikayla smiles before rushing through the forest to meet up with Hagrid who is waiting for me to fly Buckbeak.
>>> Mikayla climbs off Buckbeak's back, after taking for a fly around the grounds to stretch his wings. "Thanks fer all yer help Mikayla." Hagrid chimes as he rushes over to take Buckbeak back to the pumpkin patch. "It's no problem at all Hagrid, same time next Sunday?" Hagrid nodded before the blonde took off towards the castle. She had 30 minutes to get ready for her date, as well as drop in to check on Avery. She ran through the passages that cut her travel distance in half, once in her dorm she grabbed a quick shower, before styling her and doing her makeup. She pulled on a red low cut long-sleeved sundress, pairing it with brown sandal high heels.

Mikayla grabbed a small black handbag, Avery had gifted her for her birthday, she put her money in the small bag before adding an undetectable expansion charm on the bag. She used the same passageways to cut through the school, she was meeting Fred at the gates in 10 minutes and was adamant with checking in on Avery first. When she walked into the room, she made a bee-line to Avery's bed, her sister still peacefully sleeping. "Hey Avs, I'm kinda shitting bricks to meet up with Freddie. I have no idea what he has planned for this date." Mikayla says as she takes a seat next to Avery's bed, taking her hand. "I know it's stupid, I mean with everything going on I'm worried about a date with my boyfriend." Mikayla chuckled at herself, "I just wanted to check in with you, I was hoping you'd be awake so I could tell you the good news, but I really have to go or I'll be late." Mikayla stood up and bent down to kiss Avery's forehead lightly. "I love you, Av. Stay strong." Mikayla squeezed her sisters hand, before quietly leaving the hospital wing and making her way towards the entrance hall.
"Hey Mikayla, you're dressed up." Eva commented as she spotted the blonde in the entrance hall, "yeah, I'm going on a date with Freddie." Mikayla smiles sweetly at the younger blonde, "ooh, are you nervous? You seem nervous." Darren gestures to her shaking hands as she mentally prepares to go see her boyfriend after two weeks of not seeing him. "Yeah... it's silly really. I guess I'm nervous that I don't know what he's planned for this date," Mikayla picks at her nails anxiously, before looking at her watch, "okay, I've stalled for long enough. I'll see you lot tonight." Mikayla clapped her hands together before waving goodbye and hurrying down towards the gate.
"For someone so famous, she's quite the bag of nerves, isn't she?" Marcie comments looking over at Eva, "yeah, but she's still just a teenage girl at the end of the day." Matthew defends Mikayla as he watches her disappear from view. "She's got anxiety, it always chooses the worse time to act up, believe me I know." Eva states as she spins around, link arms with Darren and Elizabeth, leading them to the library. "She looked beautiful though didn't she, red really is her colour." Marcie states as she links up with Matthew, making Eva chuckle, remembering the blonde stated the case that because she looks good in red is why she's in Gryffindor. "I think she could pull neon green off, and no one can do that." Elizabeth states in an matter of fact tone, which the two other girls nod their heads in agreement with.
