The trio were set free from the Hospital Wing first thing Monday morning as Madam Pomfrey had promised Mikayla last night. Mikayla was once again on a meal plan, but this one was just for two weeks to regain the weight she lost when she was incapable of eating. Now they were restored to full health by the ministrations of Madam Pomfrey and now able to enjoy the benefits of having been knocked out, poisoned and suffering a week-long Anxietas episode, the best of which was that Hermione was friends with Ron again. Hermione even escorted them down to breakfast, bringing with her the news that Ginny had argued with Dean. The drowsing creature in Harry's chest suddenly raised its head, sniffing the air hopefully.

"What did they row about?" he asked trying to sound casual as they turned onto a seventh-floor corridor that was deserted but for a very small girl who had been examining a tapestry of trolls in tutus. She looked terrified at the sight of the approaching sixth years and dropped the heavy brass scales she was carrying. "It's all right!" Hermione smiled kindly as she and Mikayla hurried forward to help her. "Here..." Mikayla tapped the broken scales with her wand and said, "Reparo." The girl did not say thank you however, but just remained rooted to the spot as they continued on their journey passed her and watched them until they rounded the corner out of sight.

Ron glanced back at her just before she was no longer in view, "I swear they're getting smaller," Ron chuckled lightly, "no, you're just getting taller." Mikayla tried to discredit Ron's statement, which earned her a ruffle of her hair as Ron smirked, "don't worry, M, you still got time to grow." Mikayla rolled her eyes and shoved Ron playfully for his cheeky comment. "Moving on from Mikayla being vertically challenged." Mikayla scoffed at Harry's throw away phrase, "what did Ginny and Dean row about, Hermione?" Mikayla had to hide her smirk at Harry's unsubtle way of hoping that Dean and Ginny were done. "Oh, Dean was laughing about McLaggen hitting that Bludger at you," Hermione informed them.

"It must've looked funny," Ron offered in Dean's defence, his and Ginny's relationship was still a little rocky. "It didn't look funny at all! It looked terrible and if Coote and Peakes hadn't caught Harry he could have been badly hurt!" Hermione retorted hotly, making Mikayla send her a warning look, she really wanted to keep the peace between her and Ron. "Yeah, well, there was no need for Ginny and Dean to split up over it," Harry commented still trying to sound casual, "or are they still together?" He asked and Mikayla started to cough trying to combat the laughter that wanted to escape her at Harry's interest.

"Yes, they are- but why are you so interested?" Hermione questioned giving Harry a sharp warning look, her eyes flickering quickly to Ron to make sure he hadn't picked up on Harry's obvious investment in Ginny's relationship status."I just don't want my Quidditch team messed up again!" he lied hastily and it didn't look like Ron had caught on, they all spun around at the sound of a familiar voice behind them, "Harry!" Harry smiled grateful for the distraction, "oh, hi, Luna." He greeted her before the rest of them also greeted the younger girl. "I went to the hospital wing to find you, but they said you'd left..." Luna informed them as she began rummaging through her book bag.

She thrust what appeared to be a green onion, a large spotted toadstool, and a considerable amount of what looked like cat litter into Ron's hands, finally pulling out a rather grubby scroll of parchment that she handed to Harry. "I've been told to give you this." It was a small roll of parchment, which Mikayla recognised at once as another invitation to Harry for a lesson with Dumbledore. "Tonight," Harry told them once he had unrolled it, Mikayla stifled a scoff, the boy is just after being released from the Hospital Wing surely Dumbledore could've waited until tomorrow before summoning Harry.

"Nice commentary last match!" Ron complimented Luna as she took back the green onion, the toadstool, and the cat litter. Luna smiled vaguely, "you're making fun of me, aren't you?" she commented with a rare tone of sadness from the usually cheery girl, "everyone says I was dreadful." Mikayla immediately straightened up as Ron confirmed that he was being completely serious about commentary skills. "I can't remember enjoying commentary more!" He smiled brightly at her, and it seemed to cheer Luna up a bit. "Yeah, it made me and Ron's day, we were quite sad that we missed the match but your commentary made us smile." Mikayla added to Ron's point, to show that Ron wasn't actually making fun of her.

"What is this, by the way?" Ron asked with an intrigued expression as he held the onion like object up to eye level. "Oh, it's a Gurdyroot," Luna identified while stuffing the cat litter and the toadstool back into her bag. "You can keep it if you like, I've got a few of them. They're really excellent for warding off Gulping Plimpies." And she walked away, leaving Ron chortling still clutching the Gurdyroot. "You know, she's grown on me, Luna," Ron admitted as they set off again for the Great Hall. "I know she's insane, but it's in a good-" Ron cut himself off very suddenly, Mikayla turned her attention away from the redhead to notice what stopped him. Lavender Brown was standing at the foot of the marble staircase looking thunderous.

"Hi," Ron waved nervously. "C'mon," Harry muttered to the girls, him and Hermione darted off whilst Mikayla turned to Ron and whispered, "you've got this. Just remember that why you're doing this." Ron nodded at her Mikayla dropped him a sneaky wink, her back to Lavender so that she didn't see it, before she turned and rushed off to catch up with Harry and Hermione. Not before she heard Lavender say, "why didn't you tell me you were getting out today? And what was she whispering to you?" Mikayla fought off a retort and focused on allowing Ron handle this himself.

Ron appeared at breakfast half an hour later, looking like a weight was lifted off of his shoulders as he smiled and made his way to sit with his friends. "Well?" Mikayla asked as she slid over on the bench to make room for Ron, "I did it." Ron stated as he sat next to Mikayla, who placed her hand on his shoulder, "and how do you feel?" She continued to pry, "I feel a little bad, she was very upset and cried but overall... I'm happy it's over." Mikayla nodded her head understandably, squeezing Ron's shoulder with a soft proud smile on her face.

"I'm confused... what just happened?" Hermione asked the pair after watching the interaction with zero context of what has happened. "I've broken up with Lavender. It didn't seem fair to her to keep leading her on when I didn't return her feelings." Ron explained using the mature phrasing Mikayla had advised him to say to her. "And you knew about this?" Harry asked Mikayla, who simply nodded in confirmation. "Yeah, I told her yesterday that I was planning to and asked for advice on how to let Lavender down easy." Ron said before he tucked into dinner, Hermione blinked away the shock of the announcement and soon a happy smile made it's way on her face.

For the rest of the day the foursome were in a particularly good mood, and Mikayla was glad that everyone had made up and their friendship was actually back on track. Ron even went as far as to apologise to Hermione for bailing on her for Slughorn's party. Hermione was in an ever better mood since that she even offered to look over (in other words, finish writing) Harry's Herbology essay, something she had been resolutely refusing to do up to this point, because she had known that Harry would then let Ron copy his work.

Mikayla decided to do Ron's for him after he offered to go to the kitchens and get her food for her fourth meal. The boys thanked the girls before leaving them in the common room, Harry was heading to Dumbledore's for his lesson and Ron was going to walk him before heading to the kitchens. Mikayla couldn't wipe the massive grin off her face from having all her friends back together, she felt a wave of relief wash over her and the stress of the situation be completely lifted from her shoulders.

"Do you think Ron has caught on that Harry's mad for Ginny?" Mikayla asked Hermione in a whisper, "no, I don't, which is mad considering how obvious Harry is. Do think he'll be mad when he does figure it out?" Hermione asked once she put her quill down after finishing Harry's essay. "No, I mean, if anyone is going to love Ginny the way she deserves to be loved, it's Harry. And I think Ron will see that." Hermione nodded her head in agreement with a soft dopey smile on her face, "yeah, you're right." Mikayla smirks playfully, "aren't I always?" Hermione scoffs and shoves the blonde while telling her to shut up, making the girls to fall into a fit of laughter... to which a single thought crossed Mikayla's mind, 'finally, harmony'.
