Private Lessons Schedule

Mikayla knocked on the door of Professor McGonagall's office, she was early for their meeting but Mikayla had a radio show to co-host in an hour and a half and she didn't want to be pressed for time. "Come on in, Miss Black." McGonagall called from the other side of the door, Mikayla takes a deep breath before pushing the door open. Mikayla took a tentative step inside of the office after she spotted the stranger standing by McGonagall's watching her. Mikayla cleared her throat, "I'm sorry, Professor, I didn't mean to disrupt your meeting." Mikayla's were glued to her Head of House, feeling very uncomfortable from the other occupants blatant staring at her.

"You didn't disrupt us, Miss Black. Let me introduce you to Penelope Marchbanks." McGonagall gestures to the rather short woman, who looked as if she was in her late twenties. "Nice to meet you, Miss Black." Marshbanks smiled which made her seem a whole lot less intimidating. "It's lovely to meet you too, and please call me, Mikayla. The both of you." Mikayla send a playfully scowl towards McGonagall, who raised an eyebrow in the blonde's direction, but Mikayla could see the hint of amusement in her distaste.

"Mikayla, please take a seat." Mikayla does as she's told instantly, not wanted to make a bad impression in front of McGonagall's friend. "You requested to have a private tutor work with you during the Easter Holidays to help with your preparations for your N.E.W.Ts this coming June." Mikayla nodded her head to confirm that McGonagall's statement was in fact true. "As you may have foreseen it was kind hard to find someone both qualified and trustworthy to tutor you because of the current climate. Fortunately, Griselda herself recommended her granddaughter Penelope here to take on the job and Penelope agreed to do it." Mikayla smiled at Marshbanks and thanked her for agreeing to teach her.

"So, I thought it would be good for you both to put together your contract for the lessons and since Mikayla is still underage her godfather gave me permission to oversee this meeting on his behalf." Mikayla nodded understanding completely, as she knew that someone might to try to take advantage of her kindness and generosity. "Mikayla, have you thought about what you would like your schedule to be?" Marshbanks asked taking the seat beside Mikayla, "um yes actually, one second." Mikayla began rummaging through her bag, "I made a timetable. I made sure to give breaks as I don't want burn out. I also only added the subjects that I need the most amount of help with, whether it's because of course work that needs to be covered or what I just need a refresher in." Mikayla explains as she continues to search her bag.

"Oh so we won't be tackling all the subjects you'll be doing for your N.E.W.Ts?" Mikayla shook her head no, "we only have six days and it'll be spread too tight to study 12 subjects in such a limited time zone." Mikayla answered as she pulled out a piece of parchment, she duplicated it, handing one copy to McGonagall and the other to Marshbanks.
