Mikayla, Harry and Ron were standing together by the Burrow's kitchen sink, they were peeling a mountain of Brussels sprouts for Mrs Weasley. They were the only ones in the room, all the others were spread around the house doing other chores in preparation for tomorrow's celebrations. Ron was once again asking Harry if he was sure that Snape had offered Malfoy help, "if you ask that once more, I'm going to stick this sprout-" Harry threatened Ron, waving the sprout in his hand aggressively at Ron, Ron held his hands up in surrender to the warning, "I'm only checking!" Mikayla stifled a chuckle, as Harry reminds Ron how Snape had mentioned making an Unbreakable Vow with Narcissa Malfoy.

Mikayla sent Ron a look to change the topic of conversation to something light hearted, which Ron seemed to catch on to, "you know, Fred and George tried to get me to make an Unbreakable Vow when I was about five. I nearly did too, I was holding hands with Fred and everything when Dad found us. He went mental," Ron smiled softly with a reminiscent gleam in his eyes. "Only time I've ever seen Dad as angry as Mum, Fred reckons his left buttock has never been the same since." Mikayla snorted and began to laugh silently as Harry responds, "yeah, well, passing over Fred's left buttock-" Harry gives Mikayla an amused raise of an eyebrow just as the twins arrive in the kitchen.

"I beg your pardon?"Fred looks at each of the trio individually, before nudging his twin with his elbow, "aaah, George, look at this. They're using knives and everything. Bless them." Mikayla rolled her eyes at her boyfriend's antics, who smirked at her when he saw. "I'll be seventeen in two and a bit months' time, and then I'll be able to do it with magic!" Ron retorted clearly irritated by his brothers mockery. "But meanwhile," said George, sitting down at the kitchen table and putting his feet up on it, "we can enjoy watching you demonstrate the correct use of a - whoops-a-daisy!" George hit Ron's elbow with his foot causing Ron to cut himself. Mikayla looked at George with an unimpressed look that Molly has used on the twins more times than she can count, George seem frightened by the inscrutable resemblance of the look.

"You made me do that!" Ron whisper shouted angrily, sucking his cut thumb. "You wait, when I'm seventeen-" Fred interrupted Ron's threat, "I'm sure you'll dazzle us all with hitherto unsuspected magical skills," yawned Fred over dramatically, Mikayla stood up straight ready to stop a fight from happening, Harry and her share a glance of unsureness what to do. "And speaking of hitherto unsuspected skills, Ronald," George spoke up, recovering from Mikayla's scold, "what is this we hear from Ginny about you and a young lady called- unless our information is faulty- Lavender Brown?" Ron turned a little pink, but did not look displeased as he turned back to the sprouts.

"Mind your own business." Ron grumbled, Mikayla however put her knife down and fully faced the twins. "What a snappy retort, I really don't know how you think of them." Fred's voice dripped in sarcasm, but feigned seriousness as he continued talking, "no, what we wanted to know was... how did it happen?" Ron looked at Fred confused on what he meant, before asking him what he meant. "Did she have an accident or something?" "Freddie!" Mikayla spoke exasperated, she think the twins might be pushing Ron too far.

"What?" Ron asked still not understanding that he's about to be the bud of a mean joke. "Well, how did she sustain such extensive brain damage? Careful, now!" Mrs. Weasley entered the room just in time to see Ron throw the sprout knife at Fred, who had turned it into a paper airplane with one lazy flick of his wand, "Ron!" she said furiously. "Don't you ever let me see you throwing knives again!" Ron looked down at his feet feigning an apologetic look, "I won't," Ron promised in a sad voice, "let you see," he added under his breath, as he turned back to the sprout mountain, whilst Mikayla and Harry were shaking with laughter and trying not to burst in front of Mrs Weasley.
