A Highschool Cliche.

Chapter 3.

Getting outside the house Irene tried to look for Samuel before leaving. He was heading back inside with two drinks in his hands.

"Hey Samuel!" She shouted his name trying to get his attention before he enters inside.

"Hey! What are you doing outside?" He retreated his steps and started heading towards her.

"It's pretty late so I am heading back"

"But it hasn't been that long" he whined.

"Sorry, mom will be waiting for me" she made an excuse to get out as quickly as she can.

"Okay, if it's your mother I can't hold you back here" he huffed and continued, "do you want me to drive you back?" He asked.

"No i will be fine, thank you. See you tomorrow then" she waved goodbye to him and headed on her way back home.

Samuel went inside and saw Jason talking to Ray, he decided to approach them.

"Hey! What are you guys talking about?" He curiously asked, seeing him Jason straightened up and drop the topic they were on.

"Oh it is nothing, let's enjoy shall we?" He took one of drinks out Samuel's hand and headed back to Genie, his fling at the moment.

At school, Morning.

Irene made her way to the class without any interruption to her surprise. She peacefully spent her time and it was lunch already.

She was walking down the hallway after having her lunch to grab a few things for her remaining classes, she noticed Samuel for the first time since the morning, he came out of the boys restroom looking a bit exhausted.

"Hey Sam?" She approached him slowly.

"Hey" he looked at her weakly replying.

"Are you okay?" Looking at his state she got worried.

"Yes, just remind me not to drink on a school night" he heavily sighed.

"Ahh, i see how was the party, Samuel" she looked at him smiling cheekily, teasing him.

"You don't know the pain" he held his head, he must have been hungover, first time i guess, she thought to herself.

"I have seen enough after effects, i would refrain from any real life experience" she politely bowed in front of him.

"I think i am going to skip today, see you later" he started to walk away but she stopped him in his tracks.

"The exit is that way" she pointed to the other side with her thumb.

"Yes i know, need to grab my bag from the English class" he answered and resumed his steps but Irene stopped him.

"Wait! I will grab it for you, you stay here i will be back, just rest okay" she lightly patted his back, smiling at him and headed to retrieve his bag from the class.

After few moments she entered and abruptly turned away from the sight she has just witnessed.

There was a couple engaged in a full heated make out session.

"I am sorry, i did not see anything, carry on" she gestured with one hand and covered her eyes with another trying to get the bag.

When she finally got her hand on the bag she tried to make a quick exit but was stopped by a voice she recognised.

"Hey wait!" The voice called out.

"Please don't be him" she closed her eyes shut and prayed that her ears heard wrong.
