Irene's POV
I shifted body as i tried to open my heavy eyelids.
As soon as i woke up completely i noticed it was morning when i stared out of the window and then i realized.Oh shit!
Jason was here last night, did he leave? Not to mention how am i going to face him after he saw me like that, i was a complete mess.
I sighed deeply as i got up from my bed and brushed my teeth also washed my face which was so puffy from all the crying last night.
I carefully made the way down to the hall as i was still not sure if Jason was here or he left.
"Why did he slept here?" I looked at his sleeping figure on the couch as i went near him.
I crouched down sitting as i took in his relaxed sleeping state, it was so carefree. His one hand was beneath his cheeks which made him look really cute, his hair was also over his face but he still looked very charming.
I smiled taking in his features. He shifted to the other side and i snapped back to reality.
"Stop admiring him!" I internally shouted at my silly self.
"Jason" i tried to wake him up as i slowly shook his shoulders.
"Wake up" i tried again and he opened his eyes slowly, he smiled a bit as his eyes landed on me.
"Good morning" his raspy morning voice came and i think i forgot what to say next.
I cleared my throat and took a step back as he was getting up.
"Good morning to you too" i spoke trying to sound normal.
"Why did you sleep here? You should have woken me up" i told him feeling a little guilty he had to stay the night when he could have something else planned.
"It's okay. You were sleeping so peacefully i didn't want to disturb you" he smiled as he put his head back on the couch lazily.
"You could have just slept in my mom's room, isn't couch uncomfortable? Also what about your parents wouldn't they be worried?" I questioned him at once to which he didn't reacted as he was still yawning and trying to fully wake up.
"I informed don't worry and i didn't want to intrude. Now stop interrogating me" he said getting up finally and made his way to the bathroom while i followed him.
I gave him a spare toothbrush and a fresh towel so he can freshen up and went back to the hall as i tried to make myself something to eat.
I entered the kitchen and saw it was clean.
What about the mess i made last night? Did Jason cleaned it?
I started to drown in guilt and embarrassment as i thought back to everything from last night till now.
Still in my thoughts i took out eggs from the refrigerator and went to the stove to heat up the pan.
"No!" Jason's voice startled me as i looked behind to see him making his way to the kitchen.
"What happened?" I asked confused, he took my hands away from the stove and held them staring at me with a worried look.
"Don't do it you are going to hurt yourself again!" He scolded me while holding my injured hand in front of me.
"It's just a little scratch not a big deal" i freed my hands looking away.
"Just get ready i will drive you to school and we will stop at my house so i can get ready and we will have breakfast there okay" he announced as he forced me out of the kitchen.
