This love is new, but not the first. We are more grown now, we see things in a different way and it has given me a chance to finally choose you, again.
Jason's POV
I didn't knew what to expect after what happened this afternoon. Should i be happy? But what if she made the decision like last time, 8 years ago.
No! I would just accept whatevers comes! It's finally time to move forward with or without her.
It hurts even thinking about it. Without her, can i move forward?
Sighing i got out of the car and went to the building of her apartment, taking the elevator the punched the number of her floor.
After a while i heard the ping of the elevator and got out as soon as the door opened.
Walking to her apartment door, standing in front of it my mind kept thinking of all the possibilities that could take place.
This is it! The last time i could imagine all i want, everything with her, my life the way i did all these years while living in the what ifs.
"Hey! You are here" Suddenly Irene opened the door.
Did i ring the doorbell?
"Yeah" i stood there nervous.
What is wrong with me? I am not suppose to feel this way.
"Come in" She gestured with her one hand to come in and i followed.
She closed the door while i just stood, awkwardly not knowing what to do.
"You can move to the couch you know" she smiled looking at me standing awkwardly.
Maybe she sensed the tension in the air. Atleast i am not the only one? She is nervous too.
I made my way to the couch and sat down, she followed and stood in front of me.
Okay now i am absolutely sure she is nervous more than me.
"You wanted to ask something if i recall correctly" i broke the silence and she looked at me.
"Yeah" she nodded
"You can sit down" i told her as she still stood in front of me.
"No it's fine" she gave a small smile.
"I actually....um.... prepared a little something for you....." She moved to the kitchen and picked something up from the refrigerator but before i could see what it was she hid it behind her back.
"Can you just close your eyes or just turn away? " She asked and i raised my eyebrows at the sudden request.
"Do it" she again asked.
I nodded and complied eventhough i was confused.
I heard her footsteps coming closer and she took a deep breath i suppose because she was standing close enough for me to make it out.
"You can open your eyes" after she said that i slowly, curious to what i would see.
"Woah" i chuckled a bit seeing what was in front of me.
It was a chocolate box and a bouquet of flowers, mixed with different colours that complimented each other perfectly.
I moved my gaze from the flowers and chocolates to Irene. To my surprise she had her eyes closed, more like shut tight, afraid to see my reaction.
"What am i suppose to do with this?" I asked amused and curious as to why she presented me with those.
"You know.... this is what you guys give to girls don't you?" She bit her lower lip and i again chuckled at her adorable and confused reaction, her eyes were still closed.
