"we should leave" Irene for the third time said to remind Jason the main reason he came here.
"Why? Your mom is so lovely, I'm enjoying my time here" he grinned at her, he knew this was getting on her nerves but he wanted to tease her and her mother was infact a great women.
Nothing like Irene at all , a very good conversationalist, open minded and lovely.Irene looked between both her mother and Jason, ofcourse they hit it off, her mom had always been good with making people enjoy their time around her, she was proud but it was really hard for her to be the same.
"I think you should get going, you guys must have some work and the more you stay here the more late it will be for Irene to come back home" her mother thoughtfully suggested.
"Yes, maybe next time i could come just to meet you, Sofia" he gave her a sweet smile.
"That's lovely, but make sure you safely bring her back home" she said showing concern.
"Ofcourse mam" he nodded.
"You know i wished Irene had some qualities like yours" he joked looking disappointed in her.
"She is a bit shy i know but bear with her, she can be really interesting also" her mother was always concerned for her, it's hard out in the world when you don't have any connections so she wanted her to mingle.
"Mom!" She whined as her mother exposed her in front of Jason.
"It's okay, i will do it for you mam" he said with the same concerned voice as he looked over at her with teasing glance.
She just gave him a 'like i care' look and looked away.
They made their way to the car bidding goodbye to Irene's mother.
After getting into the car, Irene sighed a little relieved that it's finally over, Jason started up the car.
"Your mom is so amazing, not like you at all" he stated surprised.
"Yeah i know" she smiled as her mother's smiling face flashed before her.
"But don't you go being all friendly with her" she warned him being protective towards her mother.
"I guess you are more like your father then" he spoke as his gaze was focused on the road.
There was a moment was silence which made him turn his head to glance at her.
"Yeah i guess....." She spoke lightly gazing out the car window.
He refrained himself from asking any further as they were reaching his house.
After a few minutes the car halted and he got out taking his seat belt off, Irene glanced around while getting off the car.
"Come on!" He gave a light smile and gestured her to follow him.
Waiting a little while Infront of the door of his house the door opened and a male figure appeared.
"Took you long enough" Jason said annoyed, the male figure smacked his head playfully as he entered through the door.
Irene stood there without moving an inch, nervous probably.
"I was busy! Show some respect to your older brother will you!" The male responded, he turned his gaze at the figure still fixed on the same spot. He looked at Irene and smiled sweetly, she felt warmth and kindness from him.
"And who is this lovely lady?" He questioned his brother Jason who noticed she still hasn't entered.
"Come on in" Jason took her hand and led her inside closing the door leaving his brother behind.
