46. Patch up!!

Atharva's Porsche stopped infront of Rajwanshi mansion and he turned towards his wife who had their son in her lap.

Atharva grumbled : Is it necessary to do it??

Nitya rolled her eyes : Yes and now if you don't get out then I am gonna kick your butt!!

Atharva sighed nodding his head whereas Agastya leaned towards his father who was all ready to leave the confines of their car : Daddy me also come......

Nitya pulled him back : No Agastya let daddy go alone for now. I am taking you to play in the park.

Agastya whinned : No I wanna go with daddy. I wanna meet dadi and dadu

Atharva : Let him come with me Ehefrau!! Infact you both accompany me

Nitya shook her head : Not this time! Come on Atharva go now......

Atharva : I can.....

Nitya : Shut up and leave already!!

Atharva rolled his eyes : Geez woman calm down!! I am going.....

Nitya asked Joel to drive as soon as Atharva stepped inside the wrought iron gate. She closed her eyes and send a quick prayer looking upwards. Atharva deep breathed one more time before pressing the doorbell.

Natasha opened the door and grinned wide seeing her son on their doorstep. She lurched forward and hugged Atharva.

Natasha : What a pleasant surprise Atharva!!!!

Atharva smiled returning the embrace : How are you mom??

Natasha was overwhelmed first seeing Atharva coming to their house on his own and then asking about her : I...I a...am fine son. What about you??

Atharva : I am fine mom! Can I come inside??

Natasha gulped the heaviness lodged inside her and stepped aside : Sorry please come inside and it's your house too Atharva!!You don't need anyone's permission for anything......

Atharva nodded with a small grin and stepped inside following his mother. Rahul spotted his elder son coming inside after his wife.

Keeping the newspaper aside, he walked in their direction to greet his son : Goodmorning son!! You here in the morning??

Atharva raised his brows : Can't I come if I was missing my mom and dad??

Rahul's jaw dropped and he glanced at Natasha whose reaction was no different : Ofcourse son you can.......

Atharva : Where is VB and Candy??

Natasha : Vaibhav is out to meet his friend whereas Vaish had some office work so she left early.

Atharva nodded and went towards the dinning area : Mom I am hungry. Make my favourite breakfast!!

Natasha froze and Rahul had to nudge her to bring her out of her trance : Y...Yeah!!

She wiped the moisture covering her eyes and went inside the kitchen to prepare Atharva's favourite food.

Atharva : Till mom comes with breakfast, why don't we play a game of chess dad??

Rahul nodded with a bright smile and brought his chess to play with his elder son.

Rahul : I can't win against you Atharva!!

Atharva smirked : I am not VB dad!!

Natasha emerged from the kitchen followed by their maid who had two bowls in her hand : Wrap up your game now. Breakfast is ready.
