Nitya : Agastya you sure you wanna stay with your father?? Mommy won't be there ok!!
Agastya nodded : Sure mommy.
Nitya sighed : Alright then!!
She grabbed her handbag alongwith Agastya's bag pack and strolled towards Atharva's office. She tugged Agastya's hand in her hold and stopped him from barging inside.
Nitya : Darling what did mommy teach you?? We should always knock before going in anyone else's room or office.....
Agastya giggled sweetly : Sorry mommy! Me forgot
Nitya smiled caressing his knuckles : It's ok. Now knock the door!!
Hearing a curt come-in from the other side, she pushed the door open and entered inside.
Atharva was sitting besides Aastha on the small couch near his table. Hearing the footsteps, he looked up and smiled seeing Nitya and Agastya.
Atharva : Hey champ!!
Agastya sprinted and flung himself in his father's open arms and kissed his cheek : I miss you daddy
Atharva pecked his lips : I missed my boy too!! Have you been good boy??
Agastya fisted his hand in air : Always!! Can we go home soon daddy??
Atharva stood up putting Agastya down on the couch : Ofcourse champ!! Where's your bag??
Agastya pointed in Nitya's direction and she forwarded the bag.
Atharva's eyes softened and he gave a small smile to his wife who didn't smiled back : His clothes and books are there in the bag. Let me know if he needs anything else.
Atharva : Tomorrow I am planning to take Agastya for an outing. Would you join us??
Nitya : No thanks!! I have few pending work I need to take care of.....
Aastha cleared her throat and drew the couple's attention : Atharva introduce us!!
Atharva chuckled calling her closer : Sorry sweetheart I forgot! She is my wife Nitya and Nitya she is Aastha, Armaan's sister!!
Nitya gritted her teeth hearing Atharva calling Aastha "sweetheart".
Aastha saw the flick of jealousy on Nitya's face and grinned wickedly : Nice to meet you. I have heard a lot about you!!
Nitya gave a sugary smile to her : Sorry but I have not!!
Aastha asked confused : Huh??
Nitya shrugged : I am going home. Bye darling. Don't trouble your father alright!!
Agastya : Ok and if small baby miss me mommy then call me......
Nitya chuckled nodding her head : I will!!
She spared a last glance at her son and purposefully ignoring the other two adults, she sauntered out.
Atharva's longing gaze followed her retreating figure before he sighed and grabbed his belongings.
Aastha : She is your world isn't she??
Atharva raised his brow : Isn't it clear??
Aastha chuckled : It is and she has same feelings for you but right now, she's just angry......
Atharva : I don't know how long this anger of her's will last
Aastha : I got an idea Atharva!!
Atharva asked uninterested : What??
