Nitya kneeled down in front of Agastya and hanged his bag on his shoulder : Baby I will be around only ok! And play nicely with other kids. Make new friends and your tiffin is in the bag along with your waterbag. If you need me tell that aunty over there and she will bring you to me.
She said pointing at the receptionist who waved back at her. Today her parents had gone to visit her grandmother so she had to bring Agastya with her at the office.
Glancing at him one last time, she headed towards the elevator and pressed 11th floor for her office.
Atharva came back to office around noon after attending a meeting. When he was moving towards his private elevator, he spotted Agastya playing with few other kids in the playarea. A huge smile automatically appeared on his lips and his feet started moving on their own towards the playarea.
Agastya was busy in building his toy tower when he heard his name being called. Looking up, he saw Atharva and stood up quickly faltering in his steps due to hurry.
Atharva : Careful champ!!
Agastya grinned and threw himself in Atharva's awaiting arms as soon as he reached near him. Atharva lifted him and hugged him tight to his chest sighing in relief.
Atharva mumbled : I missed you my boy!!
Agastya didn't heard his murmur and frowned : What????
Atharva shook his head : Nothing! You here??
Agastya : Mommy bring me with her.
Atharva nodded in acknowledgement : Did you had your lunch??
Agastya shook his head : No
Atharva : Why?? Did your mommy forgot to feed you??
Agastya found the cufflink interesting and he started fondling it ignoring Atharva's question. Not getting any answer, Atharva followed Agastya's line of vision and saw his entire concentration on his cufflink. Chuckling, he lifted Agastya a bit in his arms making him squeak.
Agastya started bouncing : Again again pwease
Atharva again lifted him making Agastya's shriek in delight.
Atharva : It's enough now!! Let's get you something to eat first.
Nitya who had come down at the same time to feed Agastya saw all these and her mind went in frenzy. God how can the rude Atharva can be so soft with her son. She really must learn how to deal with Atharva from Agastya. In this one month she's working for him, Atharva had been nothing but arrogant and demanding boss who never appreciated her work no matter how good she performed and always shouted on her even for her smallest mistake.
She moved forward towards them and called Agastya's name to catch their attention.
Nitya : Agastya come to mommy! I will make you have your lunch
