27. I am Sorry!!

Nitya had called for a quick meeting of her group members for discussing a project they were working on. After the presentation was over, she leaned back on her chair rolling a pen in between her fingers.

Mahek : What do you think mam??

Nitya : It seems fine but the icons on the webpage are not eye appealing. How was the user response??

Sunny : Mam for the first interphase it's not as we expected but we are going live for the second one and we are really hopeful that it would be beyond our expectations.....

Nitya : Did you rule out the odds?? The website also hangs in the middle last I checked. You guys please fix the bugs before the traffic appears.

Atharva barged inside the conference room grabbing everyone's attention. Nitya frowned at his unexpected arrival and glared at him for sudden intrusion.

Atharva flicked his finger in the direction of exit gesturing everyone to leave : Out!!!!

Hearing their boss's command, each employee grabbed their things quickly and scurried away from the conference room. He closed the door behind locking it and turned in his wife's direction whose was also grabbing her things and looked ready to leave.

Atharva : Ehefrau!!

Nitya turned around shotting daggers at him : What the hell was that?? I was in the middle of a meeting!! You can't just barge in anywhere anytime you want Atharva.....

Atharva smirked coming close : Oh but I can. My employees, my company, my wife so my wish!!

Nitya huffed and took a step to leave but a vice like grip on her wrist stopped her from moving further. Trying to tug her hand free only resulted in tightening of his grip.

Sighing she turned around : What now??

Atharva pulled away laptop from her hand and files from another and kept them on the table before caging her in his arms and nuzzling his face in the crook of her neck.

Atharva : Why are you not talking to me Ehefrau??

Nitya : Do you really need to ask that??

Atharva : Will you just let it go now??

Nitya : No! You cannot decide everything for me. I promised Vaish to accompany her clubbing next time.

Atharva frowned : Candy is also going with you?

Nitya : Yes I made the plan of clubbing for Vaish. She had to cancel it last time because of me.

Atharva : I thought it was Miss. Anisha's idea.

Nitya narrowed her eyes suspiciously at him : You didn't tell her anything right??

Atharva shrugged : I might have. She can go anywhere she wants for all I care but how dare she drag you with her!!!!

Nitya : It's me who asked her to join rather than the other way around.

Atharva : You are not going to club and that's final. I will talk with Candy too....

Nitya : Don't boss me around! I am going and that's final!!

She moved past him to leave but he turned her around harshly and pushed her back slightly such as her back collided with the wall behind.

Atharva clenched his jaw glaring at her : Don't try to trigger my temper Nitya. You won't like it!!

Nitya was appalled and slightly afraid by his sudden change of behaviour but she kept brave front.
