29. Meeting friends!!

Nitya was sleeping peacefully when she felt some movements beside her. She turned to the other side ignoring it but when she felt the twisting and turning increased, she sat up and flicked the lights on. She gasped seeing Atharva struggling to breathe and he looked like he's in some kind of pain.

Atharva woke up gasping for air when he felt someone shaking him vigorously. Feeling disoriented, he blinked few times and saw Nitya howering above him with a distorted look on her face.

Nitya : You ok Atharva?? God what happened??

Atharva : Water........

Nitya passed the water bottle to him and he gulped half of it in one go. She started caressing his hair still baffled seeing her husband so disturbed.

Nitya : Bad dream??

Atharva placed his head on her lap feeling tired : Hmm

Nitya ran her fingers through his thick hair massaging his scalp : Wanna talk about it??

Atharva : No I just want to forget it.

She lied down when Atharva lifted himself slightly from her lap and then slept again keeping his face on her chest.

Nitya hummed when she felt cold air grazing her chest and a pair of soft lips kissing her cleavage.

Atharva slid off the straps of her thin nightie and smooched her shoulder when they heard a knock on their bedroom door. Nitya pushed him away gently gesturing towards the door.

Nitya : Open it!!

Atharva sighed and got up to open the door. Agastya strolled inside as soon as the door of his parent's bedroom opened and latched onto his father's legs. Atharva picked him up closing the door and brought him to their bed.

Nitya : Why are you not sleeping Agastya??

Agastya : I wanna go to toilet mommy and then I no sleepy sleepy......

Atharva laid him between them and he snuggled into Nitya's chest : Wanna sleep here with you and daddy......

Nitya gathered him in her arms : Ofcourse darling you can sleep here with us!!

Atharva chuckled seeing him sticking to his mother like a baby kangaroo : He is taking my place Ehefrau!!

Nitya laughed softly and gestured him to come close. Atharva pulled Agastya on his torso and wrapped his left arm around Nitya's shoulder who kept her head on his left bicep and wrapped her arm around his abdomen.

Atharva kissed Agastya's head who was already snoring softly and then he kissed Nitya's head who was also on the verge of dozing off. Closing his eyes which felt heavy due to sleep, he himself got lost in a dreamless slumber.

Next morning, Atharva climbed down the staircase fastening his watch when he heard his most favourite voices coming from kitchen.

Agastya : No daycare today mommy pwease!!

Nitya : No it's a weekday and you are attending it.

Agastya whinned : But I wanna go to dadu. He will take me holse riding....

Nitya : Don't talk while eating.

Atharva kissed Agastya's cheek : Good morning boo

Agastya : Good morning daddy.

Before taking his seat besides his wife, he kissed her temple : Morning beautiful!!

Nitya grinned looking at him : Goodmorning to you too handsome!!
