Nitya and Atharva opened the door of Agastya's room and smiled seeing their adorable baby lost in his dreamland.
Since she was holding the cake, she gestured Atharva to wake him up. Taking their seats on either side of Agastya, Atharva blew rasberry on Agastya's stomach and smoothered him with kisses.
Atharva : Wake up champ!! It's your bday today.....
Agastya hummed and turned around wanting to sleep more.
His parents laughed seeing this and Atharva picked him up in his arms before resting his back against the headboard : Come on boo open your eyes!! See mommy daddy has surprise for you!!
Agastya's eyes snapped open hearing the word "surprise" and he sat straight in his father's lap : Where?? What surprise?? I want it
Nitya chuckled and brought the chocholate cake in the line of his vision making him squeak in happiness : Happy bday darling!!
Agastya : My cake mommy??
Nitya nodded and he lunged towards it but Atharva pulled him back : First we are gonna get you freshen up then you can eat it alright!!
Agastya whinned and looked towards Nitya giving her a puppy look but she shook her head drawing the cake back towards herself : Daddy is right!! Go and get ready first. I will be waiting here with your cake.
Agastya gestured his father towards the bathroom and Atharva carried him inside. Taking care of his morning chores, both father and son came out ten minutes later and Agastya bounced towards Nitya with a wide grin.
Agastya : Me ready mommy!!
Nitya ruffled his hair smiling and kissed his cheek : Happy bday baby!!
Agastya kissed her cheek back : Thank you mommy
Atharva picked him up and sat on the bed opposite to Nitya with Agastya on his lap : Happy bday champ!!
Agastya turned around in his father's arms and kissed his cheek : Thank you daddy!!
Nitya lighted the 4 shaped small candle and gestured Agastya to blew it off. Holding his hand to cute the cake, she fed him the first bite.
Agastya : Yummy mommy!! I wanna eat more......
Nitya stood up holding the half eaten cake : No darling no more now. Mommy made your favourite cheese grill sandwich for breakfast today. We are gonna eat that now.
Agastya pouted : But I wanna eat cake
Atharva : You can eat it later boo. Mommy will keep it in fridge for you right Nitya??
Nitya nodded and the trio had their breakfast peacefully.
Agastya : Mommy my gift??
Nitya fake gasped : Haw!! I forgot!!
Agastya glared at her as if she committed bloody murder and turned towards his father in hope of getting one from him because his father always gifts him something or the other he wants and he never forgets anything. He is his personal hero.
Agastya asked with hopeful eyes : Daddy??
Atharva scratched his chin pretending to think : Sorry boo but even I forgot this time!! We will get it for you tomorrow.....
Agastya puffed his cheek and stood up to go and play in his room when Atharva grabbed his elbow : Leave me!!
Atharva picked him up in his arms : My my our baby boy is angry at his mommy and daddy. Come on Nitya show him the gifts we got for him
