11. My Daddy!!

Nitya was making Agastya wear his t-shirt next day as she was bringing him alongwith her to the office.

Nitya : Agastya stand still! Don't jump

Agastya giggled flicking her nose : Mommy jump jump

Nitya : No and I won't take you with me if you don't listen to mommy......

Agastya : Mommy no black jeans. Wanna wear blue one

Nitya sighed shaking her head and brought his favourite blue jeans : Happy now??

After combing his hair and making him wear his sneakers, she picked him up in her arms and sat down on bed with him on her lap. She had decided to tell Agastya about Atharva herself rather than him saying anything to Agastya.

Nitya : Darling mommy wants to say you something.....

Agastya looked up at her with innocence in his almond shaped eyes : What mommy?? I did not do mischief I plomise.....

Nitya chuckled kissing his bubbly cheek : I know baby and don't worry mommy is not gonna scold her sweetpie. You remember you asked me about your daddy before few days??

Agastya nodded enthusiastically : Yes mommy I know but you say I not ask about daddy next time.

Nitya threaded her fingers through his combed hair and twirled his wavy hair : Do you want to know about your daddy now??

Agastya nodded.

Nitya : Would you like if your new friend becomes your daddy??

Agastya made a cute 'O' shape of his mouth in astonishment : Friend become my daddy?? I like him sho much......

Nitya : Yes he is your daddy.

Agastya smiled but something flicked in his mind and he pouted sadly : Am I a bad boy mommy??

Nitya cradled him to her chest and rocked him back and forth : No darling you are the best baby anyone can have.......

Agastya : Then why my daddy not live with us like Ryan's daddy live with him and his mommy?????

Nitya closed her eyes feeling guilty somewhere : I am sorry that your daddy was not with you darling but he is here now and you know what! Daddy is eagerly waiting for his champ today at the office......

Agastya looked up from her chest : Daddy wait for Agastya??

Nitya nodded with a smile : Yes baby now come let's go!! And you are my good boy right??

Agastya nodded with a grin : I am mommy!!

Nitya : Then don't ask anything to daddy ok that I won't like!! Would you be a good boy and agree to what mommy says??

Agastya linked his small palm in Nitya's hand : Ok mommy I plomise!!

Grabbing her handbag and Agastya's bag, she drove them to R & R Technofirm in twenty minutes. Before exiting the car, she glanced at her son who was looking at the entrance eagerly.

Nitya : Baby remember all the things mommy said ok and whom are you gonna meet today??

Agastya : My friend!!

Nitya sighed : No not your friend. What is he to you now??

Agastya smacked his head with his plam : Hehe I forgot mommy. It's my daddy.......

Nitya smiled and removed his seat belt. Picking him up, she moved inside and the moment they were near the elevator, Agastya started dangling his feet asking Nitya to put him down. He sprinted towards Atharva who just came inside.
