The creak of dawn casted a orangish yellow hue in the chasm of azure. Chirping of birds and crisp, clear air infiltrated the surrounding atmosphere. The golden fingers of shining sun lit up the scene and gave a saffron tinge to the sky. The light of dawn seeped into the palatial room and danced on the sleeping couple who lay lost in the warmth of each other's arms.

The ringing sound woke up Nitya from her slumber and she stretched herself lazily like a kitten before realising her position. Atharva slept soundly next to her and the events of their rendezvous of last night occupied her mind. A pretty pink blush adorned her cheeks and she slowly removed his hand draped over her stomach.
When the doorbell sound came again, she quickly stood up hissing a bit because of the sweet pain radiating between her thighs. Not wanting to let the sound disturb her husband's slumber, she grabbed his t-shirt that lay sprawled across the bed and wore it on her way. She stretched his t-shirt that covered till her midthigh and tied her bed dazzled hair into a messy bun.
Opening the door, she was met with the smiling faces of her son and her parents whose eyes widened seeing their daughter's state. Nitya gulped and stood aside to let them enter feeling stupid to not wear something decent in hurry. What a way to embarrass yourself in front of your parents!!
Agastya jumped on her and she catched him in order to prevent his fall : Easy darling!!
Agastya : Goodmorning mommy
Nitya smiled and rubbed her nose with him : Morning baby!!
Agastya : Why you wear daddy's t-shirt mommy?? And did mosquito bite you??
Nitya frowned hearing his question whereas Prerna and Manav ducked their heads down smiling.
Nitya touched where he was referring and she gasped realizing what her son was saying. He was asking about his father's art on her. God could this situation get any more embarrassing than it already is??
She wanted the earth to open up at the moment and hide her in. Agastya cupped her cheeks and turned her face towards himself.
Agastya : Did mosquito bite you mommy??
Nitya : Um.. yea...yeah it did bite me. How come you are here this early??
Prerna cleared her throat : He was missing you so much and asking for you since he woke up so we thought to bring him back rather than waiting for you to come and get him.
Nitya : Mom dad you guys have a seat. I will change and come.
Prerna : No Nitya we just came to drop Agastya. We have to be at your grandmother's place today for breakfast so we will take your leave.
Before Nitya could speak anything further, they all heard Atharva's loud voice calling for her.
Agastya shrieked in delight hearing his father's voice : Daddy came back home mommy??
