13. Wedding

The registrar forwarded the paper towards Nitya after getting it signed by Atharva.

Registrar : Please sign here Mam. Besides Mr. Rajwanshi!!

Nitya grabbed the pen but her hand shaked a little. It's just a sign away and her fate will be sealed with Atharva forever. Can she do this?? God what was she thinking when she said yes. Was it a spur of moment for her?? When her hands didn't moved, her mother nudged her and Nitya's gaze fell on her son who was smiling from his grandmother's arms. She reminded herself once again that she is doing this for Agastya. Come what may happen, now is not the time to back out.

Taking a deep breath, she signed next to Atharva and handed back the paper to the registrar after their two witnesses also signed below them.

Registrar : Congratulations Mr. Rajwanshi and Ms. Shrivastav! You two are married now!!

Atharva smirked whereas Nitya sighed hearing it.

Atharva : Where are the other papers I asked for?? I am signing them today itself......

Atharva's lawyer who was standing besides him nodded and pulled out few papers from the file in his hand waiting for Atharva to sign.

Nitya asked in confusion : What are these papers for??

Atharva choose to ignore her and gave the papers back to his lawyer after signing : File them ASAP!!

Rahul shook his head seeing Atharva's indifference towards Nitya : What was in those papers Atharva??

Atharva : My claim on Agastya. I am giving him my name and declaring him as my heir.

Nitya huffed but decided not to argue with him on this. He is a stubborn bull and it was useless telling him anything when he decides to do as he wishes.

Natasha came forward and hugged Atharva followed by Nitya : Congratulations my children and welcome to the family Nitya.

Nitya smiled and looked at Rahul when he patted her head in affection : We are happy to have you too beta alongwith Agastya.

Vaishali : Congratulations Big B and Bhabhi!! Let's move for lunch now. I am damn hungry.

Everyone laughed and moved towards a five star hotel for a family lunch. After lunch when they all were walking out of the hotel, Nitya saw few reporters swarming around their cars. Before she could analyse anything, Atharva picked up Agastya who was in his mother's arm and grabbed Nitya's right hand with his free one dragging them towards the reporters.

Nitya hissed trying to free her wrist but Atharva tightened his grip : Atharva leave my hand! What are you doing??

Atharva glared in her direction : Stay quiet and follow me.

The reporters surrounded them as soon as they were in close vicinity : Sir who is this lady and child with you??
Mr. Rajwanshi are the rumours of you being in a relationship true??

Atharva released Nitya's hand and whispered in her ear simultaneously wrapping his arm around her shoulder : Act along!

Atharva : Ladies and gentlemen I hereby present my wife Nitya Rajwanshi and my son Agastya Rajwanshi.

Reporter : Sir why have we not known about them till now??

Atharva : My PR manager will release a statement. Excuse me!!

He paved Nitya towards the direction of their car and Nitya followed him silently reeling in her thoughts. She felt goosebumps still lingering on her skin when Atharva wrapped his arm around her and introduced her as his better half to the entire world.
