What happened?

Aye I'm alive. Its 2 in the morning and I was reading this story over a bit and am deciding to write a small chapter here. Like a teaser for what's to come.
I'm real sorry for taking about 5 months to update. I was busy and figuring things out, well, trying. Isn't working real well. Oh and I went and joined a new fandom.
I'm a new directioner now guys proud to be a part of it.
But I'm not abandoning TMR.

Newt's POV:

There is a sharp pain behind my eyes. I slowly open them expecting to see the horrible warfare that was the city I was last in, that or I was expecting something similar to a black darkness that death greets you with.
I slowly opened my eyes and immediately closed them again as I was blinded by a bright white light. I squinted and waited for my eyes to adjust.

I took in my surroundings, no fire or desolated building and rubble from the streets. Instead I am in what looks like, a hospital room? What?
It smelled of disinfectant and depression.
There were tubes in my arms, IVs. I pulled them out and the heart monitor beside me started to beep eith the sound of a flatline. I shot out of the bed my bare feet connecting with the cold floor selling a shiver up my spine. I tried to walk but failed and fell to my knees.

Immediately two nurses both women ran into the room and looked at me with startled faces.
"Subject A5 you need to sit down. You are to weak." The smaller of the two nurses spoke to me.

"Where am I? Where is Y/N? What happened? Where the hell are my clothes!?"

She walked closer to me with her hands out gesturing for me to calm down. "Sir you are in a hospital, well, sort of a hospital. You were saved from that city. Chanceolor Ava Paige ordered that you were taken care of. You are in a secluded part Romania. The last safehouse in the world"

"What the fuck!?" I exclaimed not even caring about my language at this point. How the hell am I alive?
