Lightning

(warning some cursing in this chapter)

"Thomas's POV"

I woke up to the flash and crack of lightning, I sat up to find Teresa was no longer in my arms she was over by the others staying warm. I looked off into the distance and saw lightning..a lot of it. Then I looked at the mountains, the base was quite close now, and I saw lights like from buildings. I crawled over and hit Newt in the side "Newt wake up!" I yelled at him, he was slowly stirring awake.

"WAKE UP EVERYBODY WE GOT TO GO, NOW!" they all shot awake. "What the Shuck Thomas there better be a good reason you woke me from my beauty sleep otherwise I will beat the klunk out of you" Minho threatened and I just pointed at the lightning that was in the distance.

"Come on we need to go to the mountains look there are lights!" I yelled.

"Alright Tommy, but we need to move fast" Y/N yelled from the back of the group. I looked back at the lightning and it is striking the ground everywhere, and it was moving closer.

Y/N POV

"RUN!" Thomas yelled. We all started running towards the mountains the lightning was gaining on us. I felt weak, but I knew I had to just make it to the lights and I will be okay.

We are close to the warehouse where the lights are, the lightning all around us, everywhere.

I was running in the back next to Minho, Newt was a little ways in front of us. I felt the hairs on my body stand on end and I got goosebumps, I had a matallic taste in my mouth, I knew it lightning was going to strike me, Minho was right next to me. I shoved him out of the way then felt it...the lightning the full force of it.

Newt's POV

I turned around to check on y/n and Minho and that's when I saw it, y/n pushed Minho out of the way and took the full force of the lightning, Minho was hit by a branch of the lightning, I was knocked forwards due to the power of the blast.

"Y/N!" I yelled

"MINHO!" Tommy yelled from behind me and we both ran to our friends. "GO!" Thomas yelled to the rest of the gladers ant they ran inside the warehouse.

The smoke cleared from where the lighting had struck and I was baffled by what I saw, Y/N was still standing, she was covered in black sutt but she ran to Minho who looked lifeless on the ground.

Y/N POV

I felt the lightning go though me, I felt the power and energy from it but I stayed on my feet, I felt stronger even it was crazy, I Shouldn't Be Alive! 

I looked to where I shoved Minho he looked dead on the ground, I saw Tommy and Newt running over to us, I ran to Minho. "Hey Minho! Can You Hear Me?" no answer.

"Here Lets Get Him Inside Before That Happens Again" Tommy yelled helping me lift Minho up. "Y/N love let me carry him you were just struck by bloody lightning!" Newt yelled taking Minho from me. "Newt I'm Fine Really!" I yelled as we were running into the warehouse and we laid Minho on the ground.

"Oh Shuck Minho." Frypan said.

"Y/N how are you alive?" Teresa questioned me.
