Still Newt's POV Just 3 week later

Y/N still hasn't woken up, she has barley moved, everyone else acts like she died. I haven't eaten, slept, or bloody worked in a week, I never left Y/N side, Jeff says he doesn't think she is going to wake up. How could he shucking say that, she'll wake up, right? I thought to myself.

Then Minho came in "Newt come on you need to eat otherwise you are going to wither away and die in here" He said trying to make a slight joke."Thats fine I don't care if I die I'll be closer to Y/N".

"Don't Say That! We care if you die and do you really think that is what Y/N would want, do you think she would want you to die? Do you think she'd want you to sit here all day every day doing nothing? No she'd want you to go and live. Now go eat some food you shank I'll watch her your fine" I nodded,

"But Minho I just feel helpless over here I can't help her, I can't talk to her it's like she's already dead, I can't Hack that. I'm sorry Minho, Thank you, for everything. Tell Y/N love her if she ever wakes up".

Minho's POV

"Y/N I don't know what I'm supposed to do, what do you want me to do. Newt is really scaring me he was just talking about letting himself die, Y/N you need to wake up soon, please I don't know how much longer Newt is going to last, I think he might do something. Y/N please wake up. (Alby comes in the room silently while Minho was talking to Y/N) please just wake up".

"You okay Minho?" Alby asks from behind him. Minho jumps then relaxes when he sees its just Alby "no, I'm not okay and neither is Newt, Alby I think he is suicidal".

"Oh Shuck!" Alby said.

"Newt just went in the Maze, he said he wanted to get back to work as a runner, he seemed fine,"

"We need to SHUCKING find him NOW!" I yelled at Alby.

Before we ran out into the maze I sent Gally to watch Y/N.

Alby and I ran into the maze yelling Newts name.

"Newt" I yelled......no response

"NEWT!!" Alby yelled..........still no response.

We keep running around frantically looking for our friend, I hear a loud thud a few walls over me and Alby think at first it was a griever so we cautiously walk over to where we heard it. But then we hear it a sound that will forever be seared into my mind I could never forget it, It was Newt he screamed in pain but not just physical pain but emotional. Alby and I turned the last corner worried about what we would see. We were mortified, Newt was on the ground tangled in Ivy, He is barley conscious, he is covered in blood and his leg, his shucking leg it was bent all kind of out of place.

"Just leave me mate" he says while coughing up blood,

"No shucking way I said, us gladers got to stick together".

Alby and I try to move him but every time we do Newt screams out in pain so I have had enough I grabbed him under the legs and under his arms and I started to carry him bridal style all the way back to the maze, he was screaming in agony every few minutes.

We got back to the glade in time and brought him to the homestead to get fixed, Clint and Jeff asked what happened, we didn't say anything.
