The Right Arm

Y/N POV

Harriet and Sonya led us to the end of the bridge and we saw in front of us, two army vehicles and men with guns walked up to Harriet and Sonya, the man took off his helmet he was taller with a pretty good build, he said his name is Vince.

"Who are these kids" Vince asked referring to us.

"They are immune's, they escaped W.I.C.K.E.D" Sonya explained to Vince.

"Did you check em?" he asked. "Well I know this guy Aris and I trust him" Harriet said but Vince still insisted on us getting checked. Newt wasn't doing good with his arm.

"Hey Vince there is a few kids here who don't look to good" one man said from behind us, then Brenda gasped for air and fell forward onto the ground she was gasping for air and she seemed like she wasn't getting any.

"BRENDA!?" Tommy yelled then rushed to Brenda's side and Jorge did the same putting Brenda's head in his lap.

I noticed that Newt next to me was sweating and breathing very heavy.
"Newt, are you alright?"
"Y-yeah y/n I-Im...I-m...I'm" he then fell to the ground.
"NEWT!" I knelt down next to him.

"THE GIRL IS INFECTED! What Is With The Boy?!" Vince yelled as he pointed his gun at Brenda.

"Boss he is not infected just a bullet wound" one of Vince's men said.

"Please I told her you could help her" Thomas pleaded for Vince to help Brenda.
"I can help her..by putting her out of her misery" Vince said then cocked his gun and was ready to pull the trigger.

"VINCE WAIT!" A woman yelled then pulled Vince's gun down.
"We couldn't help her before but now we can, we have Thomas" the woman said.

"I'm sorry but who the shuck are you?" Minho asked.

"Mary Cooper proud to be of your service" she said with a smile.

"Do I know you?" Thomas and I asked at the same time.
"Makes sense they put you in the Maze Thomas, I thought they would have killed you for what you did"

"What did I do?" He asked confused by what Mary was talking about.

"The first time we talked to kept talking about how you couldn't stand watching your friends die, the last time we spoke you gave us the coordinates of every W.I.C.K.E.D maze, compound and lab. Without you we could have never pulled all this off"

"He was our source" Vince sias amazed. I smiled, my brother helped these people and they saved many kids.

"Come one help me get the infected girl and the boy to the med tent, Y/N, Thomas you come too" Mary said then we all were brought to the med tent.

"I'm going to need some blood Thomas" Mary said plunging a needle into his arm he winced at the pain. Mary took the blood over to her little table and mixed it with a few other things then injected it into Brenda she was struggling for air with uneven breaths and jerking around but once she was injected with the strange substance she quickly calmed and her and her breathing normalized into a steady slow rhythm, she fell into a peaceful sleep.

"Now for this boy over here" She said and walked over to Newt, he was sweating and breathing was all out of whack.

"Hold him down we need to take out the bullet" she said and walked over to a table and walked back with a scary looking tool. Thomas and I looked at each other with a look that said 'this is crazy I don't want to do this' but then we walked over to Newt and held him down.
