The Box

This is my first story ever so I apologize if it is not setup perfect I am still very new to wattpad,  Well lets begin be sure to comment for more ideas for the plot and suggestions

I wake up in a cold metal box gasping for air, I hear the whirring and grinding of gears, there I felt the box moving very fast upward then I realize I'm in an elevator. I look over to my right to be met with another face I scream which caused the other boys to wake up most of them started screaming along with me. I feel that I recognize one of the boys he has an English accent but I can't remember anything and this scared me into having a panic attack the English boy starts to crawl over to me, but of course I start screaming again, but then he cupped both his hands around my face and his hands were very warm and just made you feel safe, he makes you look at him he starts to speak "hey calm down alright?, you are going to be okay, now listen to me screaming isn't going to help us get out of this bloody box", then just as he finished speaking the box reached the surface and we are all blinded by the sun that shines through into the box. I thanked the boy who helped me then brought by focus back on where I was.

I finally see who is in the box with me there are 4 boys in the box along with myself, all of us had the same face of scared and confused. The way we looked at each other we seemed to almost study one another, but then I noticed something strange about one of the boys he was a darker colored man but he looked so calm he spoke to you all in the group saying "We need to all work together and get out of this box" you all agreed and opened the doors on the top of the box and helped each other climb out, one of the boys grabbed your hand and helped pull you out, he looked pretty normal minus his very sharp eyebrows. When you all got out the first thing you noticed was the giant wall around you it was huge and there were vines growing all around, the sun was very bright beating down on your face. All of you where thinking the same thing, Where the hell are we?

Then the black man from before spoke again he said "is everyone alright?, can anyone else remember anything" I shook my head, I couldn't remember anything but my name. He also said his name is Alby, then I spoke up saying "my name is Y/N", another boy, the one that helped you said his name was Newt, he was a kind of on the taller side, he had dirty blonde hair and an English accent, he locked eyes with you for just a moment and smiled then looked away you could tell he was very scared. The other boy with the funny eyebrows is Gally, and the final boy in the box is Ben. 

All of you were freaking out that you couldn't remember anything other than your names. But then Ben spoke and pointed something out to the others saying "hey guys this box has building supplies in it and food, but wait there is a note". Gally insisted on reading it it said "This is your monthly box of supplies that you may need it has food, water, building supplies, and weapons you wondered why you would need weapons if there is any ever anything specific you would need such as basic medicine, clothes, bedding ect. you write it down on a piece on paper and send it down along with the box". 

We all looked around at your surroundings there is a few sections of forest but it was a closed in area, a giant square blocked off by the big walls of whatever this place is. Newt suggests to the group we take the supplies out of the box because who knows when it will go back down. The rest of the group agrees with him, but Gally wants to go look at the building in the corner of the square we decided to sent Gally and Ben over to investigate while you, Newt and Alby started unloading the box.

I got into a conversation with Alby and Newt about why your here and where here is. We all seemed pretty clueless. Alby says he thinks we are part of some experiment, Newt says that it may be a prison and honestly that is what it looks like with those walls. Newt then turns to you and asks you a question "Y/N right?" Yes that is my name "well are you okay now you seemed to be having a bloody panic attack in the box", I then said "well I was but I am fine now thank you for helping me". He responded with "No problem love, I don't like seeing people in distress". Then I thought to myself did he just call me love. Then me and Newt exchanged smiles and with Alby we all planned on going off to meet up with Gally and Ben. I started thinking about what Newt said but quickly stopped when I heard him yell "Race You there Y/N" I bolted off after him to the large wooden building in the corner of the Glade, that is what Alby suggested we should call this place it sounds fitting to me. I won the race to the door we all barrel inside Newt looks at me and smiles saying he will beat me next time. What we found inside was amazing it was a main building with basic medical supplies like gauze cloths and rubbing alcohol and things like that. There were some  bedrooms along the walls with a bathroom all set up for us. We found Gally and Ben in one of the rooms it had two beds both Gally and Ben were in separate beds passed out they were sound asleep. 

I scanned the room and found the next bedroom and ran inside sat on the bed Newt was running after me yelling "no Y/N I call it I'll beat you to it" to bad I said I got to it first, he then proceeded to try and tickle me out of the room he ended up just ticking me enough to get me to roll off the bed causing him to trip over my flailing legs and fall on top of me our eyes locked and both our faces were swarmed with red. Then we noticed Alby standing in the doorway smirking at us he just laughed and shook his head and then said "what do you say we go check the box supplies for some food" Newt and I shook our heads up and down profusely. We all raced back to the box Newt won this time he was doing a funny dance when he won waving his arms around in all directions and jumping up and down. It made both me and Alby burst out laughing till we couldn't breath. 

We found some food in the box supplies mostly fruit and bread but food nonetheless, after we finished eating Alby had left to go to bed it was just me and Newt together around a small fire. He turned to me and asked me a question saying "what should we call that new building we got?" I answered him saying "I don't know homeground" then it hit me "Homestead we should call it the Homestead" Newt looked at me and smiled "I like it Homestead it is" he answered, we then heard strange sounds coming from the other sides of the wall blocking us off from whatever world is out there, the noise sounded like large moving stone. Both me and Newt got very scared very fast and then we heard it, a loud screeching along with whirring and clicking. Newt and I turned to each other and ran back to the homestead and ran in yelling and screaming.

The other boys woke up almost immediately coming out of their rooms still very groggy and tired. Alby turned to Newt and I and asked why the hell we were yelling and screaming. So me and Newt started explaining all the noises and sounds we heard we were panting and gasping while speaking and no one in the room could put together what we were trying to say. But Alby figured it out he spoke "Y/N, Newt calm down I know what you are trying to say, you heard sounds of monsters or beasts outside the walls?" I nodded back at him.

Gally and Ben seemed very confused, I could tell by the way Gally's eyebrows curled down. "We need to get the F**k out of here" Gally blurted. Newt snapped at him for his language "what am I supposed to say instead then?" Gally asked, Newt responded saying "something other than that like, shuck or fudge" I let out a small giggle when he said that. Gally just rolled his eyes.

Alby had got us all calmed down saying things like if there was anything out there he doesn't think it could get into the glade through those walls. "The Glade?" Ben asked, Alby told him about how we named the area they were trapped in the Glade. Then Newt jumped in saying that this main building is also named the Homestead, we all agreed and liked it.
Alby just told us all to calm down and try to get some sleep, we all turned and walked towards our rooms, Newt followed behind me and tapped my shoulder, I turned around and Newt sweeped me into a great big hug and then said "are you going to be ok love?," we exited our hug and looked at each other and I responded with "I don't know I am still pretty scared from before" Newt looked me in the eyes and said "I can stay with you if you want I'm sure you don't want to be alone after what just bloody happened" I nodded and we went into my room there Newt set up a small bed on the floor and I laid on the bed, "Goodnight Y/N", Newt said I turned to him and said "goodnight Newt", I fell asleep to the sound of Gally's loud snoring in the next room over, but little did I know Newt watched over me the whole night making sure I was okay and safe.
But none of us knew is what was in store for us the next morning.
