The Good Moments

It's been 2 weeks since George died, we still have runners running the maze I'm one of them, we have to be back now 2 hours before the gate closes. Newt hates that I have to run, I don't like it either because of all the bad things I've seen, but someone has to do it because if we don't our people will lose hope and we can't have that. I still visit Nick and George's graves in the deadheads all the time I miss them, we all do.

The box came today another young boy, younger then George was his name is Chuck he is very nice and polite. But he came up with a note from W.I.C.K.E.D saying that they are from now in only ever sending up one person ag a time in the box and that they are sorry for our loss of George.

Time skip

We ate dinner I sat at our table and Newt sat by me and wrapped his arm around my waist. Minho and Chuck came and sat across from us.
"How does it feel being the only girl here" Chuck asked.
I answered his question, "I don't know I haven't really thought about it like that, for as long as I can remember I've only been around boys, I don't even remember knowing girls."

"That's cool, and what about Newt there are so many other guys in this Glade why Newt?" Chuck askes with much curiosity.

"Alright Chuck I think that is enough questions for now." Newt said, while blushing.

Time skip to bonfire

Most of the gladers were watching Gally in the fight circle beating any opponent he gets I walked up next into the circle.
"Hey Gally fight me"

"What? Y/N you want me to fight you? But your a girl."

"Ok and..." I said sassy like Minho.
"Alright whatever,  let's do this" Gally said while rolling his eyes.
Newt just watched, I could tell he was worried I'd get hurt.
Gally and I got in a fighting stance.

"Rules are simple, get me out of the circle" Gally said while smirking. I knew he still had a crush on me so he would probably let me win but I don't care.

We both got in a fighting stance.
"Ready...FIGHT!" Alby said with a smile.
I lunged at Gally, and he turned and I fell to the ground. Then I got up and he charged at me at I used the momentum to throw him to the ground then I pinned him down, I wouldn't let him up until he said I won.
"Gally tell me I've won"
"No way shank" he said while his face was pressed with the sand
"Say it, or you will never get up" I could see Newt and Chuck standing next to one another Lauphing like crazy chuck was practically on the ground.
"Fine Y/N, you win" Gally said with defeat lacing his voice.

I walked over to Chuck and Newt.
Newt was giving me a face that just screamed, you are awesome I love you.
And Chuck well he was still laughing.
"You okay there Chuck" I said making a joke.
"Yeah I j-just got to get it out of my system" he said laughing.

We all sat behind a fallen tree facing away from the bonfire, it was Newt, Minho, Chuck and me all just sitting and talking. Minho was getting a little drunk but that is normal I only had one drink because of what happened last time, Newt did too. Chuck doesn't drink, he is just naturally very energetic. I was sitting Next to Newt on the ground my head on his shoulder and his arm around me.
"Awww the glade lovebirds" Minho said in a sassy girly voice.

Chuck then turned to newt, "Can I borrow Y/N for a moment please?" He asked very politely. What could chuck possibly need from me, funny kid I love him he is like my little brother I would do anything for him.
"Sure I don't mind, but I would like  her back when you are finished" newt said stiffening a laugh.
I sat up off Newt and Chuck grabbed both my hands and pulled me up.
"I'm going to get another drink, Minho watch them" Newt said, even though Minho passed out over in the middle of the glade.
