I Don't Bloody Know

Y/N POV

Well I've been with the gladers for three days and I haven't been taken for any tests yet which I think is weird but also a good think. I follow the normal schedule as the other gladers, but now something new we get too after lunch we go outside! In a courtyard and it is like a garden with flowers, it looked nothing like the outside world. There was even a basketball court, I am not very good but Minho sure is him and Thomas will play the whole yard time Winston will play sometimes too. 

But I worry about that Newt boy, he looks so sad all the time I talked to him a little bit before he didn't tell me much though, he only told me the small things about our old relationship, I still don't know who he is really, just that we used to be close back in the glade.

Thomas's POV

Basketball has been fun but we can't forget the goal, to get out of here all of us. It is only a matter of time before one of us gets called at lunch to start our 'New Lives'. I also still have herd nothing about Teresa either.

I was talking to Aris at breakfast he started eating with us he's a pretty good guy, we have a plan on how to get into that section on where those bodies from the other night go. Aris has to swipe a key card from a guard while trying to fight him about his friend Rachel, apparently she was called by Janson their first night here.

Time skip

Aris, Newt and I are sneeking into the locked section, we got out of the vent and opened the door we walked in and saw through a window into a lab there was these tubes filled with blue liquid and inside them are what looked like...grievers, baby ones I mean but grievers none the less.

"What the hell is this place?" Newt asked while staring at the grievers.

"I don't know Newt but I for one want to get out" Aris said while pointing at the room in front us. There were bodies hanging from the ceiling! they weren't dead they were being drained. I walked over to one of the bodies it looked like Teresa. I pull the hair away from her face and see that it is not Teresa. Aris walks up beside me "its Rachel" he said somberly.

Then the doors started to open.
"Oh shit hide" Newt whisper yelled.
So we did I hid behind a pillar by me and Aris went and hid behind some propane take looking things, And Newt hid behind the next pillar over.

Janson walked I  witb another man and they walked over to a screen and pulled up a video call with...Ava Paige!

"Whatever it is your doing to them in there its working" Janson said to Ava.

"Not well enough. I am coming in earlier than planned two days I will be there" Ava said then showed some brain scans and the brain two different people one normal and the other had blue splotches on it.

"I am pulling the plug on our little experiment with those lovers from Maze A. It is not working well enough and the boy is not showing the results we want"

Newts POV

Maze A, that's us. Is she talking about me and Y/N? What is going on.

I looked at Thomas and gave him a look that said 'is she talking about y/n and me' Thomas nodded but still looked confused meaning he didn't know.

"Alright Ava we will do it first thing in the morning, and I can assure you they won't feel pain" Janson said then they ended the call and left the room.

"What the hell are they going to do to us Tommy?!" I asked Thomas I was eager to know and scared to find out.

"I don't know Newt but we have to get back to the others" Thomas said and Aris and I agreed and we all got back into the vents and crawled to our rooms as fast as we could.

We got in our room and Thomas told the other gladers what Ava and Janson's call was about.

"Wait so what the shuck is going on with Y/N and Newt?" Minho asked walking over to me and placing a hand on my shoulder.

"I don't bloody know they are terminating some test they are doing"

"Wait Newt...her memories they wanted to get some brain thingy from you and it obviously isn't working so.....she gets her memories back" Minho said looking to Thomas to see if what he just said was logical.

"I guess that makes sense" Y/N said from the other side of the room.

Time skip

Y/N POV

We were trying to sleep but I was still awake and so was Newt he was sitting against the back wall like he does a lot he has since I came with the gladers. I know he sits there because of me, because I don't remember him. I don't want him to feel to lonely so I went and sat next to him.

"What's on your mind Newt?" I asked him and he looked at me "just thinking" he said then looked back to the other side of the room blankly.

"Thinking about what?"

"About us...in the glade" he said the tone I  his voice sounded like he was talking about someone that died.

"What about us, can you please tell me how close we were?"

"I'm thinking about the good times, and how close we were, you were my Girlfriend." He said somberly.

"Oh" I said. I didn't know what else to say so I got up and I walked over to my bed and went to sleep thinking about Newt.

Newt then came to bed too, he hasn't done that since we got here his bed is behind mine.
"Goodnight Newt" I said to him.
"Goodnight Love, don't worry I won't let bloody anything happen to you tomorrow" he said sweetly, I can see how he was my boyfriend.

"Thank you" I said and he just hummed in response.

Newt's POV

Y/N said goodnight to me I still love her so much that won't ever change.

Time skip to morning

"Y/N! NEWT! Some guards were yelling and banging on our door and burst through everyone was awake we were all against the back wall and the other gladers put y/n and me behind them to protect us. But the guards just shoved them aside beating them and y/n and I were grabbed I tried to fight back but was injected with something, I felt really weak and I looked back and Y/N was having the same problem. Stupid W.I.C.K.E.D and there bloody needles.

We were dragged into a room and thrown on the floor I couldn't move.

"Well we are going to terminate our little test that we did with y/n memories. We are going to give them back to her" Janson said looking almost angry about it, he never liked me I knew that.

We were on the floor for a while until I could slowly move again then everything worked I felt normal and y/n did too she sat on the ground very close to me until the guards said it was time. She grabbed me I held her and they ripped her away from me I tried to go to her but was shoved back on the floor by Janson.

"Its a shame she has to do this" he said. I was confused. But then I heard her screaming in pain and agony from the next room over. I wanted to help her so bad but I couldn't, I couldn't get to her I was trapped listening to her scream.
