You met doll when you were watching the circus do their acts during a show. You saw doll leading everyone out of the tent so they could go home. You told her that you liked her act and she thanked you. You and her were just acquaintance. 

When you catch her starring at you

Doll talked to you after a show. You and her started a conversation and talked for a while. You started rambling and looked over to her to ask a question.
