When I saw the ship hovering over the planet I smiled, and tried to control the tears that were coming from my eyes I was going to see them and I could tell them that I wasn't dying. I docked the ship on the Spector, then let Keka go down after Felicity, I was trying to calm myself down so, I wasn't crying when they saw me. I managed to wipe away the tears and put on a neutral face, then I headed down into the main ship. When I came down I watched as their eyes shifted from Keka to me. I smiled as big as I ever had.
"How was the mission?" Efren asks.
"The mission was a success," I say.
"Who is this?" Efren asks gesturing towards Keka.
"This is Keka she is Helrifian, her ship crashed on the planet I was on and she asked if we could give her a lift back to where she needed to go," I say.
Efren nodded, but I noticed he was eyeing her warily. Helaina decided to show her to where she could stay and Lars nodded at me, before heading back to the cockpit with Dagur. My feet touched the ground, and Felicity backed up so I had room to get to Efren. Efren smiled and pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back.
"I'm glad you're back," Efren says and kisses my head.
"I'm glad to be back," I say.
Efren lets go, and then I hug Theo.
"It's good to see you again," Theo says.
"Same to you," I say.
When I back up I see them looking at me confused.
"What?" I ask.
"You seem different," Efren says.
"Well I think there's something everyone should know, I'll tell everyone in the cockpit," I say.
Efren and Theo nod. I head back to my room, and put some of the stuff I had with me on Selene back in there. After that I headed to the cockpit. Lars smiled at me.
"I was getting kind of bored not having you around," Lars teases.
I roll my eyes but smile.
"Well we can never have that," I tease.
Lars chuckles.
"It's good to have you back," Lars says.
Loki came bolting out from under the chair, and about trampled me. I giggled, and caught him in my arms. I scratched behind his ears.
"Hey buddy, I missed you too," I whisper.
Soon Theo, Efren, and Helaina come into the cockpit. Lars moves to the co-pilot chair, and Helaina leans against the pilot chair.
"What did you want to tell us Skye?" Efren asks softly.
I take a deep breath.
"While I was on Selene I met the people I went to go help, they were the sisters of selene. They have magic of their own. It's like crystal's but at the same time not really. Their matriarch, mother, told me that if I completed the task I was assigned, she would help me," I say.
I watch as they waited with their breaths held. I swear Efren had the beginning of tears in his eyes.
"Flick, do you want to show them?" I ask.
Felicity came over she held out her arm. I rested my arm on hers and she took in everything my body was telling her. When it ended she turned to face everyone.
"She's completely healthy. She is showing nothing, except what a woman of her age should be showing," Felicity says, and if to prove he was telling the truth she showed everyone the results.
I smile when I hear everyone let out shouts of excitement. Helaina came up to me and held my face in her hands. I giggled as tears came to my eyes again. She gently wiped them away then hugged me. I hugged her back tightly and when she pulled away I saw relief in her eyes, and I knew even though she was happy for me this relief was for Efren. I nodded at her.
She smiled back and then went back to piloting so everyone else could congratulate me. Lars patted me on the back, and then went back to the co-pilot chair. Theo was grinning at me with one of his widest grins, I chuckled, then hugged him. He hugged me back. Afterwards he headed out of the cockpit with me and Efren.
Outside Efren held my head in his hands, and wiped away the tears that had been leaking from the corners of my eyes.
"How do you feel?" Efren asks.
"I feel wonderful, There's no more pain," I say my voice breaking as I said that last section.
Efren smiled as he himself had tears coming to his eyes.
"Did you know?" I whisper.
"Did I know what?" Efren asks
"That the Sisters of Selene might be able to heal me? Is that why you sent me there?" I whisper.
"I didn't know they could heal you to this extreme, I only thought they may be able to ease your pain. I had a hunch," Efren says.
I smile, then wipe my tears.
