That's not what this is! I have experience and this is my mission, and I can't have you screwing it up," I growl at her.
I noted the men in the booth heading out. I summoned my sword and held one across the length of the booth cutting their exit off.
"You're not leaving," I snap at them.
Keka smirked at me with malice.
"You throw out that crystal sword and everything works for you," She sneers.
"I happen to know how to use a bow staff, blasters, and I can use any sword, doesn't have to be this one do you want to test it?" I snarl.
"Okay ladies that's enough," Felicity snaps.
I feel my lips twitch, but I step away from her although our eyes still drilled into each other.
"If you were a real Helrifian you would know our code of honor," Keka snarled.
I lunged at her, but Felicity caught me and held me back.
"I'm sick and tired of you thinking you are superior to me because you got to live on Helrif! I didn't get the choice! I didn't ask to have Big Brother blow up my home because of me. I didn't ask for them to kill my mother! I didn't ask to be taken away from my family, my home to be held in prison on a Big Brother ship while they experimented on me!
I didn't ask to be cut up! I didn't ask to be abandoned on a foreign planet, forced into servitude to survive! Then let go when I was 10 to survive by myself! Do not act high and mighty because you had the privilege to live a normal life when I didn't even get a choice to!" I snarl.
I felt the tears coming. Felicity lessened her grip and I pulled my arms out of her hands.
"My father happens to be the chief of Helrif. I didn't want to tell you, because I didn't want you to feel any obligation towards me, but because you're refusing to listen to me and jeopardizing the whole mission I have to pull rank," I snap.
Her eyes lost their anger but it was replaced by bitterness.
"My name is Halia Kaili Osorio, my father is Chief Daniel Osorio," I say.
Keka's lip pursed.
"So, sit down and listen to me," I hiss.
She looks like she'd rather tear her own eyes out, but she sits in the booth. I sheathe my swords and place my fingertips on the table.
"Now we are after information you boys happen to have so, let me buy you, boys, a drink and you can tell us," I say politely, but there was a threat in my eyes. They swallow and nod.
I wave over a droid and tell them the order for this table. The droid nods and rolls away.
"Flick," I say.
She steps up so she's just an inch away from my back.
"Get Lars. I don't trust leaving her alone, but I have to get the other information I'm after," I say under my breath my lips barely moving, but I know Felicity could hear me.
She nods, then heads off. The droid comes back and hands everyone their drinks. I thank it and tip it.
"Now the information," I say and turn to look at Keka.
She groans but asks her question. Felicity came back with Lars. I turn towards him.
"Thank you," I say.
"No problem, but you do realize by me doing this I'm not getting information," Lars says.
"I know," I say bitterly but I squeeze his arm.
I start walking away Felicity followed me. I stopped at the bar.
"So what's the plan now?" Felicity asks.
"Now we get into the back rooms," I say.
"How are we supposed to get back there?"
"At places like this, the best way is for people to think you have something they want,"
"And how do we do that?"
"You're a hot android," I say.
Felicity straightens up shocked. I smile.
"Come on," I say and grab her hand.
I lead her to where a large wooden door was located at the back of the main cantina a sliding portion in it. and eyes appeared in it. They looked at both of us. Recognition crept into their eyes.
"Skye! How long has it been?!" The guard asks laughing boisterously.
"About five years Hoz!" I say laughing.
His eyes lingered on Felicity.
"Who's that with you?"
"A friend. She's one of a kind. Can we come back or are you going to make us stand here? Because if so I could cut your nice door down," I tease.
The guard laughs and then starts unlocking the door. When a number amount of locks unlocked he finally opened the door and Felicity and I headed in. I nodded at all the locks.
"Bit of an overkill," I say.
He shrugs.
"But necessary," He says.
I nod, then he closes the door behind us and starts relocking all the locks. Felicity bent her head towards me.
"How do you know him?" She whispers.
"I was in the criminal underworld from when I was 7 until I was 10 and then when I was 14. I made friendships and they helped me and kept me safe, for the most part," I say.
Flick just nods. He finishes with the locks.
"Bathroom still in the same spot?" I'd like to freshen up," I say.
The guard nods.
"She's going to want to see you, you know," He says.
I nod.
"Tell her I'm here. I'll see her when I'm done in the bathroom," I say.
The guard nods.
"Come on Flick," I say.
She nods and follows me. we head into the bathroom and I lock the door behind me and lean against the sink and clench it so my fingers were turning white.
"Are you alright?" Felicity asks gently grabbing my wrist in her hand.
I turn to face her and grab her hand in mine giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"Yeah. I just was a lot different during this period in my life compared to now," I say.
"Well, that's life. You're supposed to grow and change," Felicity says.
