Theo and I made it back to the ship and I immediately knew that something was wrong. I knew this because Skye wasn't here.

"Where could she have gone?" Theo whispered.

"She followed the drums," I mumble to myself.

"How are we going to find her?"

"Hold on," I say.

I gently grab my crystal that was hanging around my neck and start breathing in deeply through my nose and out through my mouth, I close my eyes and focus on finding Skye's crystal. I let out a breath of relief once I feel a tug on my crystal.

"I can find her, just follow me," I say, then take off. Theo follows close behind me, and I follow the tug on my crystal that was leading me to.

When I felt the tug leading me underground I knelt to the ground. Theo looked around. I felt the ground and I knew something was under here because I could feel the vibrations coming up from the ground. The question was how to get through it. Theo walked over where I told him to and then a giant gaping hole opened in the ground.

Theo fell through and I dived after him. I slid down a cement tunnel and fell onto the sand at the bottom of it. I looked around and immediately knew what was happening. This was a coliseum fighting arena. I headed towards the opening that showed the arena.

I looked around and saw how to get into the arena. I grabbed Theo's arm and headed that way. When we reached the seats I took a seat and Theo sat next to me. There was nothing worrying at first, but then I saw the gates open and my heart stopped. Skye walked out into the arena, but I immediately knew something was wrong.

She was walking differently from how Skye usually did. There was a completely different aura around her also.

"What is our plan to get her out of here?" Theo asks.

"I'm not quite sure yet," I whisper.

"What's wrong?" Theo mumbled.

"There's something going on with Skye," I say.

Before Theo could respond the fight started and I immediately knew that was not Skye. She was not having a problem injuring, and killing the person she was fighting.

"That's not Skye," Theo murmured.

"No, it's not," I say.

Skye looked up and I knew what was going on. Her eyes were black with white stars in them.

"It's because the crystal-force is currently controlling her," I say.

"The crystal-force? But it's not like the crystal-force to just murder random people," Theo says.

"There are multiple sides of the crystal-force. When it was first recorded there were people with blue-green crystals and red-yellow crystals. I'm assuming this is the red-yellow side," I say.

Theo paled.

"We have to stop this now. Skye might not be doing this mentally, but her physical body is doing this and that's going to hurt her," Theo says.

I nod. I stand up and push through the crowd of people. Theo follows me. I tear my gaze away from Skye who was currently causing a lot of pain and there was a smile on her face. I call the ship to me.

"What are you doing?" Theo demanded.

"What's it look like?" I'm bringing this place down," I whisper.

The ship was near and it crashed through the ceiling of the dome. The crowd screamed and started running towards the nearest exits.

"Get that ship ready!" I yell.

Theo nods and gets into the ship. I jump down into the arena. Skye turned to face me her face twisted into a snarl. I unsheathe my swords and use them to stop her from fighting. She struggled and gnashed her teeth at me.

"The fight is over, let her go," I demand.

Her eyes were not purple right now, they were black with stars in them were glaring at me with murderous intent.

"Skye, the fight is over," I say calmly trying to reach Skye who was locked away in her own mind right now.

I watched as the black eyes full of stars froze and then something seemed to force them away before being replaced by Skye's actual purple eyes. She stumbled and I caught her.

"Skye, it's me you're okay," I whisper.

She shook her head.

"Efren," She mumbled.

"Yeah, it's me,"

She gently stood up and looked around her. I saw searing pain cloud her eyes as she realized what she had done. She looked down at herself and realized she was covered in blood.

"Skye it wasn't you," I say.

"Yes, it was," She mumbled. "Maybe not knowingly, but my hands are covered in this blood, figuratively and literally. I gave them permission," She whispered her voice catching.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I didn't know what to do during this fight, because I wasn't going to harm innocent people. So, the red-yellow side of the crystal-force told me to let go, and that it would fight the battle. I agreed. I allowed for this to happen," Skye said tears clinging to her eyelashes.
