Chapter 41: Explosion

Today was the day Big Brother was arriving, and I was suited up with the Sisters of Selene. They were all wearing their gear, and we were sneaking through the woods towards where Big Brother would be parking their ship. We stayed far away from the ship at first, because we didn't want to be picked up on their scanners. We waited until the ship was on the ground and it was turned off. When Big Brother started getting off the ship that is when we moved forwards.

We started taking out the people working on the ship stealthily. I watched as girls took down one or two guys at the same time with absolute silence. They were working their way all over the landing site. I was with Grace still hiding in the back. We waited for some of the guys to be taken down, then we made our way towards the ship.

When we were on the ship I listened for any movement. Their were still people on this ship, they wouldn't leave this ship undefended, especially if they knew about the Sisters of Selene, which they did. I heard a creak, and it was coming from the cockpit, I looked over at Grace who nodded. I nodded back, then we made our way towards the cockpit. When we reached it I peered in, and saw that there were two men in it.

I snuck up behind one of them and Grace snuck up behind the other. I managed to get my sword over his neck, and Grace broke the other guys neck.

"Now, we need you to do something for us," I whisper.

I moved my way towards the front of him so he could see my face, Grace made her way over to me.

"You're going to respond back to your leader and say that you found nothing of interest on this planet, and that you're going to look for some other planet that hasn't been explored before," I say.

"And if I don't," The man snarls.

"I think the sword to your throat answers that question. I could easily tell your leader the exact same thing, right now I'm showing you kindness, which you never showed these people before," I snarl.

"Big Brother is gone. I have no leader," The man says.

I press my sword into his throat a little bit.

"I know you're lying. I have fought other little remnants of Big Brother across the galaxy. You're all still split up trying to rebuild Big Brother. I'm making sure that doesn't happen," I snarl.

The man swallows then starts typing into the computer. I read what he was typing to make sure he wasn't sending a warning. When he finished I took my sword away from his throat. He let out a small swallow and I knew he was trying to figure out I didn't kill him. I moved back and let Grace come forward.

"This is not my kill to make. It's not my planet that you've been excavating for its resources," I say.

"But aren't you Helrifian? We blew up your planet," The man says.

"I am very well aware of that, you blew up my planet to get me, but this planet isn't mine," I say, then Grace placed both her hands on the temples of the man.

I saw her eyes glow white and when she was done the man started foaming at the mouth and twitching. He eventually died. Grace and I walked out of the ship, we still had something else we had to do. I made a ball of light in my hand and she did the same thing. We merged them together then sent them into the ship.

When that was done we hurried into the trees to be protected. Then the ship exploded. We had made sure the only people around were me and Grace. If anyone from Big Brother who had been missed by the Sisters of Selene saw the explosion they would make their way back towards the ship and that's why Grace and I were hanging around the ship. The explosion had been huge you would have definitely seen it especially if you were Big Brother and you hadn't been super far from getting off the ship and heading towards the site.

It took a few hours, but eventually we had managed to get every Big Brother person that had been in that ship. We knew because we had the ships manifest. It had been a small crew, and the Sisters of Selene managed to take out a lot of them. We headed back towards the village, and Grace was smiling at me.

"What?" I ask giggling.

"Did you forget your reward?" Grace asks.

"What?" I ask again.

"Mother is going to help your body from dying while this crystal force is using you as a vessel," Grace says.

I smile.
