"Yes." I whisper, but before Efren could retort, something caught my eye.

I quickly get out go my chair and headed towards the window. I stared outside the window.

"Skye, what is it?" Efren asks.

I don't answer him. I saw something gold in my peripheral vision.

"I know where I am." I say.

"Skye, what are you talking about?" Efren asks.

"Look out the window." I say.

Efren does.

"That gold piece is a a chunk from Helrif." I say.

"Oh my God." Helaina says.

I saw more chunks of gold around us.

"I know where we are." I whisper.

"We must be around Helrif, but that's not possible. We are far away from them." Helaina says.

"Helrif was bombed by Big Brother remember?" I ask.

They nod.

"Big Brother took parts from the planet, and when they let me go they dropped the pieces with me." I say.

"Skye, where are we?" Efren asks.

"Big Brother didn't move their ships unless they were being attacked. They flew fuel, and food to them. Because no one knew where they were except Big Brother." I say.

"Skye." Efren says still waiting for my answer to his question.

Although, deep down he knew the answer. He wanted me to say something to prove him wrong, but he would be right.

"This is where Big Brother experimented on me from when I was six to when I was seven." I say.

Everyone fell silent. I was forcing myself to stay in the present. I had managed to keep myself in the present, because everything that was happening, but I still suffered from blackouts. They had me relive things I never wanted to. I was fighting against it, but I was failing.

I felt my eyes rolling back in my head. I stumbled back. I forced myself to stand up. Efren heard me stumble back.

"Skye?" Efren asks.

I reach out my hand and grab his arm.

"Please Efren I don't want to go back." I say tears falling from my eyes.

"Skye, go back where?" Efren asks calmly, but it was too late.

My eyes rolled back in my head and blackness overtook my vision.

I watched as Skye's eyes moved rapidly under her eyelids. The only thing that showed me she wasn't asleep was the part that her hand was still clutching my arm quite hard. She was quite scared, and I was her anchor to the present she needed to know she wasn't trapped in her past.

"What's wrong?" Theo demanded.

"She's having a blackout." Helaina says.

"A what?" Theo asks.

"Oh that's right you weren't with us when she got them." Helaina says.

"What's a blackout?" Theo asks.

Helaina sighs.

"Coming from the past she did Skye gets blackout when she goes back to those times and "relives" them in a way. When they happen she can't stop them." Helaina says.

Theo still looked confused.

"They happen when something reminds her of one of those memories. She had gotten really good at stopping them. They didn't bother her for years. When we first took her with us she got them a lot. We learned to recognize when they started." I say.

"Are all blackouts bad memories?" Theo asks.

"No some of her blackouts are good, but the one she's having right now isn't a good one. It was triggered because we're in the ruins of where she was experimented on for a year." I say.

Theo nods. I brushed a strand of Skye's hair away from her face. A tear fell down my face I wiped it away. Skye's eyes opened I almost let out a sigh of relief, but then I realized her eyes were black with stars. Skye was still trapped in her past memory.

I clenched my teeth, but I didn't let go. Skye still needed me to keep her anchored to the present.

"What do you want?" I demand.

The face of Skye smiled cruelly.

"We were wondering what was going on with our host?" They ask.

"She's currently in a blackout, which if I may, she was able to keep at bay for years, but then you become a problem, and she's using her energy on other things she shouldn't be." I say.

"I suggest you keep your temper in check Efren Lightman. We are merciful, but there are times when our mercy runs out." They say.

I clench my jaw.

"Why were you worried about Skye's body?" Helaina asks.

"Using a host is difficult. They require lots of maintaining. They can die from us using them. Skye's body is very good at holding us, but she's starting to struggle." They say.

I feel anger racing through my body again.

"So every time you use her body you bring her a little closer to death." I hiss.

"Yes, and something like this happening is a way to speed up the process." They say.

Before I could fire off on them they disappear, and Skye's purple eyes were back. She shot up tears falling from her eyes.

"Skye you're here, you're here in the present." I say.

Skye looked at me her eyes wild, but then realization came to them. I pulled her into a hug. She rested her head on my heart to hear my heartbeat. Her hand that wasn't clutching my arm covered her eyes, and she shook she was crying. I placed the hand that wasn't connected to the arm she was clutching on her left arm and pulled her closer to me.

We sat in crumples heaps on the floor. Theo and Helaina were piloting the ship I was comforting Skye while she broke down.

"Where did you go?" I ask.

Skye sniffled.

"I was six, and they were experimenting on me." Skye says in barely a whisper.
