Efren had used my birth name. I didn't hate it I just didn't use it, because it brings back painful memories. More tears fell from my eyes.
"You don't give me a choice. I want to help you. Let me help you Skye please. I'm your mentor I'm supposed to help you, but when you don't tell me what's going on I can't." Efren says.
I can hear the desperation in his voice, and that makes me even sadder.
"I can't tell you Efren." I say.
"And when has that ever stopped you before?" Efren asks with a goofy smile.
I sit down, and cross my arms over my chest. Efren gets up and sits next to me.
"Please Skye let me help you." Efren says.
"I get dreams like the one you saw, but overnight some worse then that, others pretty mild, but it doesn't make me want to sleep." I say.
I see the pain in Efren's eyes. He wants to help. He only wants to help, and he doesn't know how.
"Worse dreams?" Efren asks.
I look down, then back up.
"I die." I say.
I see the outrage flash through Efren's eyes, and saying it out loud made me feel like it was real, and I started crying.
"I don't want to die Efren. I don't want to die." I sob my voice breaking.
Efren pulls me into a hug, and holds me tight. I cry onto his shoulder.
"I won't let you." Efren says.
"I don't think we control weather or not I die." I say.
"It doesn't matter. I will not let you die, not until you've lived a long and fulfilling life." Efren says, then kisses my head.
I don't say anything. Efren held me while I cried. When I was eventually able to stop I pulled away from Efren, and composed myself.
"It's okay to be afraid." Efren says.
"I know, but not when it overtakes your life." I say.
"You're right." Efren says.
"I'm so tired of being afraid." I say.
"Then don't be. You can control your fear." Efren says.
"It's easier said then done." I say.
"Most things are." Efren says.
I sigh, then shake my head, and stand up. Efren stands up after me. Before I can take a step I feel that familiar pull in the back of my mind. I reach out and grab Efren's shoulder before I'm not in control of consciousness.

Skye reached out and grabbed my shoulder. I grabbed her hand and held her there. I unfortunately knew what was happening. She turned to face me I saw her eyes were black and stars sprawled across them. I was glaring at them.
"Why so much anger Lightman?" Skye asks, but I knew it wasn't Skye.
It was the crystal force using Skye's body as a vessel to communicate.
"She's only 19, and you're forcing her to go through all these trials. They're slowly killing her." I say.
"The vessel is a necessary evil. We have to go back home to save it. She needs to go through the trials to make sure she's worthy." The crystal force says.
"The vessel has a name. Her name is Skye. I think she's proven she's worthy already. You chose her when she was a toddler. And after everything she went through you still think she needs to prove herself." I growl.
"That's in the past. She has to prove herself now." The crystal force says.
I chew the inside of my cheek.
"What do you want? I know you didn't come here to analyze me." I say.
Skye smiles. I shudder, because it's not Skye doing the smiling.
"Travel to the Intellium system. Go to the planet Okum. The vessel has some trials to get through." The crystal force says, then I sense them leave Skye's body.
The black sky with stars leaves her eyes, and her purple eyes come back. Her eyelids flutter, then she collapses to the ground. Before she falls completely to the ground I catch her and gently lower her to the ground. I wave my hand over her eyelids they don't even flutter. I sigh, then pick her up before carrying her to her room.
In her room I place her on her bed. I sigh. I rest my hand on her forehead, before turning and leaving.

I wake up to see I was back in my bed. I roll up and clutch my head. When the crystal-force used me it took a lot of my energy. I jumped down from the bed, and headed towards the cockpit. Helaina and Efren were piloting.
"Where are we going?" I ask.
I could see by Efren's body language that he was angry. I don't know why, but I had learned it was better not to question him.
"Intellium system the planet Okum." Efren says.
"Okay." I say.
"Kira called to see if you were still coming over today." Helaina says.
"Oh yeah. Of course I'll head over there now." I say.
"Tell them we say hi. Give Eva some love from us." Helaina says.
"Of course." I say smiling.
I leave the cock pit and head towards the door leading out. I put on my jet pack, and armor before stepping out of the Specter. I was greeted by the emptiness of space and the bunch of ships I was leading to the crystal planet. I felt my heart start to speed up. I shake my head to clear it, then make my way towards Kira's ship.
