Turns out, Mrs Norris wasn't dead. Just petrified. So, that was good. Not good, but also not as bad being dead.

Still not good, though.

There had been a lot of gossip going around. Theories and rumours. Many people believed Potter to be the heir of Slytherin since he was caught at the scene of the crime. And, because he's Potter. He always seemed to be involved in drama.

The whispers had only been fuelled after one of the second year History of Magic classes. Professor Binns had told his class the story of the Chamber of Secrets: that there was supposedly a monster which could only be unleashed by the heir to purge the school of 'all who were unworthy to study magic.' In other words, Mudbloods. Naturally, the Professor's tale had been shared around the school very quickly.

Robyn was not fond of the idea that there was a monster in the school, even if she wasn't its target.

At present, she was sitting in the Slytherin Quidditch stands, supporting the team. It was Slytherin against Gryffindor, and it seemed one of the Bludgers was singling out Harry Potter, which was quite entertaining.

She might have sat with her Ravenclaw not-friends, but she had been avoiding them since Willow had told her off. She had also been...reflecting. Thinking. Willow had made good points. But they went against everything she had been taught from a young age. Deep down, Robyn wanted to experience the world, and with that, it seemed inevitable that she'd have to interact with Muggles. But Muggles were...not dirty? Willow had called them impressive. Really? She found that hard to believe, but also reluctantly acknowledged that she knew next to nothing about them. Maybe she should ask Lana...

No. That would be embarrassing. She could just go to the library and research. She was good at that.

She'd have to be discreet, though. If Lloyd or Draco or any of the Slytherins caught her with a book about Muggles, she'd die of shame.

She winced as Draco slammed into the ground. That looked sore. Everyone around her began booing as Potter caught the Snitch, but she was too busy watching the Bludger continue its effort to beat the boy to a pulp. It was really quite strange behaviour.

Astoria tutted from her left, "Well, that's a shame. Do you reckon Draco'll be put in the Hospital Wing? I bet you could make him feel better..." she lifted her eyebrows suggestively, to which Robyn promptly smacked her in the stomach.

"Let's go," she replied with an eye roll.

Draco was moaning and groaning as he lay in the hospital bed, a bit dramatically in Robyn's opinion. She and Astoria were standing at the foot of the bed giggling behind their hands at his antics. Granger had stared at her when they came in, because, when was she not staring at her? Weirdo. Lloyd was at one side of the bed and Theo and Blaise stood on the other. The four boys were theorising that Potter must have cheated somehow with that mad Bludger. She wasn't sure if Theo and Blaise actually believed it or if they were just humouring the blond boy.

'Yeah, right,' Robyn wanted to scoff. She'd believe that Draco had been the one to cheat before she'd believe it of noble, honourable Potter. Besides, how had that rogue Bludger been any help whatsoever to Potter? It hadn't. It had broken his arm! The boys were just trying to make excuses because their poor egos had taken a hit. Idiots.
