"Are you sure it's good enough?" Robyn worried.

She had been practicing drawing with Olivia pretty much every night since her birthday. She obviously wasn't as talented as Olivia, who A. had a weird, natural talent for it, and B. had been drawing for as long as she could hold a quill. Or pencil. Whatever. But she was all right at it.

She and Olivia had been working on a drawing of Robyn, Dylan, and Lloyd, in honour of Dylan's fifteenth birthday. Robyn couldn't ask Dylan to go to Hogsmeade to get her own present, and she was too scared to write home. So, she had to work with what she had. And she had Olivia.

"Yes, Rob! It's good! I did half of it, didn't I?" Olivia insisted.

"Yes, the good half," Robyn groaned. "She'll hate it."

Olivia scoffed playfully, "Are you trying to offend me?"

"No!"

"Then stop saying it's bad! Willow, come here!" she beckoned the curly-haired girl over from her bed to join them on Robyn's. "Willow is the most brutally honest person we know. If it's bad, she'll say so," Olivia said quietly so Willow wouldn't hear.

Robyn laughed, "True."

Olivia held up the drawing to Willow and asked for her honest opinion.

"Honestly?" she asked.

"No. We asked for your honest opinion but we want you to lie," Robyn deadpanned.

Willow gave a sweet smile and said, "It's shite."

"Willow!" Olivia protested.

"Fine! Okay, if Liv drew it, it's not quite up to her usual standard. If Robyn drew it, then, I'd be surprised. Because it's half-decent. Now leave me alone to nap, or I'll fall asleep during Astronomy tonight." She walked back to her bed and threw the curtains closed.

"Told you so," Olivia sang.

"All right, all right. Shall we go give it to her?"

"'We'? You want me to come?"

"I couldn't have done it without you. So, you deserve credit."

"Er," Olivia hesitated, "she wouldn't mind? I mean- well, I'm a half-blood..."

Robyn frowned, "No. I don't think so. Dylan is nice. Much nicer than Lloyd," she vouched for her sister, then stood up and held out her hand to pull Olivia up.

"Do you even know where she'll be?" Olivia questioned as she stood.

"It's still dinner, so Great Hall I reckon. If not, her common room. I know the password," Robyn smirked at the end, though realistically it had probably changed by now.

Olivia's eyes widened, "I am not going in there!"

Robyn laughed and pulled her out the room.

Luckily for Olivia, Dylan was still in the Great Hall. She was surrounded by her intimidating friends, though, so Robyn asked her to talk in the Entrance Hall. She agreed, of course.

"Happy birthday," Robyn said as they leaned against a wall near the Great Hall doors. She handed over the drawing nervously and awaited Dylan's reaction. Olivia gave her a reassuring nod.
