Day 102/61

Dear Dylan,

It's not Sunday. It's Wednesday. But I had to write an emergency letter. Because I'm really angry again. Because guess what?

Hermione's parents don't want to come home. They want to stay in Australia.

??????????????????

Are you fucking joking.

It's not a question it's a statement.

Like, just: what the fuck.

(Blah blah blah don't swear Robby blah blah blah)

Hermione spent so long looking for them, finally found them, only for them to turn around and be like: no thanks.

She didn't tell me much but it appears that even though she got their memories back, they still really love Australia and want to keep living there. Australia? The place with the weird accents and the gargantuan spiders that might as well be Acromantula and not to mention all the other animals that can kill you?

Maybe the UK has worse weather but the only thing that'll kill you here is a megalomaniac Dark Lord or a 12-year-old with a knife (or so I've surmised from the newspapers) or maybe a car but I think they have those in Australia too.

No they definitely have cars because Hermione and Ginny (and Bazza) have been driving across the country haven't they?

/////////

All right I left for a bit to throw some books at the wall (don't tell Hermione) and now I feel less like I'm going to rip my hair out.

I don't really hate Australia. I have no actual opinion on Australia. But right now I do: it's pissing me off. Not only did it steal Hermione from me for 2 months but now it's stealing her parents for good.

Well, Hermione's parents can stay there if they want. It's not the end of the world. We can travel there by Portkey easily though it might make us a bit nauseous. But it's literally fine.

I was only angry because Hermione is so upset. But it really isn't the end of the world. I just need her to come back so I can tell her that. Writing it isn't the same. She's having a major nervy b (as Olivia has taken to calling it) thinking she needs to up and move to Australia too (newsflash: she doesn't). I wrote in the book "what about school?" which I'm hoping will bring her back down to Earth (because, you know, it's Hermione) but she hasn't replied. Hopefully Ginny will be able to talk some sense into her. Or maybe Bazza will.

It's really not the end of the world. It just means I have an excuse to go to Australia now (once I've finished school).

Hopefully Hermione comes home soon.

Love, Robyn

P.S. since we finished Friends (what a cliffhanger! I think you'd love it. I wish we could watch it together) Nadir bought me Eastenders which has 13 whole series. Not to mention series 1 alone has 91 episodes. There's no way I'll be able to finish before school starts. Anyway Nadir says if I watch too many American programmes I might pick up an American accent which would be terrible.

I think Eastenders is the one Astrid likes. Hopefully we can discuss it at Hogwarts (I have not invited her to the house again. I'm not that much of an idiot).
