Chapter Twenty-Four

Hyunjin nodded. "Our next stop should probably be visiting the LeeCorp headquarters then. After we know what they know, maybe it could help us take down Strike once and for all."

"It's time to go on a road trip! Get in losers!"

Chris shook his head at Hyunjin's antics, who was currently leaning out of the driver's side window of the van they hijacked.

After a kind of short night in which the villains pretty much only stayed up and talked, only sleeping a little bit at the very end of the night, the trio decided to drive to the LeeCorp headquarters.

There were a few small issues with this plan though.

First, the LeeCorp headquarters was located in Chris' hometown, meaning he would have to go back to the place he ran away from, and the drive would be super long.

Second, unlike KimTech, LeeCorp was still very active. They didn't really know how to sneak in without anyone seeing them, especially since they are very recognizable.

And lastly, doing this was quite a big risk. What if the information that they were going to find out from LeeCorp was completely useless? This whole trip would be for nothing, yet they decided to take the risk to see if anything can help.

Chris opened the door to the backseat and sat down since Jeongin "designated the shotgun seat for himself permanently."

Chris didn't mind though. He got more space.

Hyunjin started the car using his magic and began to drive. This trip was going to be a bit long, but at least they weren't traveling on foot.

The city view quickly turned into one of the forest that Chris was in before. Trees were everywhere, no civilization in sight.

It was quite calm.

At the moment, Hyunjin was humming along to some song on the radio as he drove, his head bobbing up and down slightly to the beat. Jeongin was leaning against the headrest of his seat, sleeping peacefully.

Chris, on the other hand, was a bit bored. He didn't have much to do.

Pulling out his phone, Chris opened it immediately. There were a couple of new messages.

Chris furrowed his eyebrows as he saw who they were from.

They were from Mega(?)

Huh?

Chris opened them up, curious.

Chris huffed. He knew who this was and it definitely wasn't Mega. Tense, Chris continued to read.
