Bakugo's POV
I stared at the ceiling where beams of morning sunlight were filtering into my room. My memory from the previous night ran through my mind on a loop. Groaning in frustration, I ran my fingers through my hair before sitting up and throwing my legs over the side of the bed. The floor was cool beneath my bare feet as I stood and started getting dressed for the day. It was the weekend, so thankfully we'd all get a break from having to attend class today. Still, the thought of seeing Y/n after last night seemed somehow more stressful than the idea of having to go to class.
She said that she wanted to just pretend like it didn't happen, right? Because she was embarrassed or some shit? I thought.
I scoffed, realizing how stupid that sounded now that I was actually alert and not overcome by Y/n invading all of my senses. "She'll probably bring it up long before I do anyways," I mumbled, imagining her anxious fidgeting that she would more than likely do while we ate breakfast together.
Feeling more confident about the situation, I began heading downstairs. As I stepped into the elevator and watched the numbers quickly descend, I felt a fluttering in my stomach as I remembered the feel of her skin beneath my fingertips.
Get a fucking grip! I chastised myself, shaking my head as though the motion would clear away the memory.
The elevator pinged and opened slowly. Stepping out into the open area, my eyes automatically scanned the space for Y/n. When I didn't immediately spot her, I made my way towards the dining area. When I saw her, she was laughing at something one of our classmates had just said. The sound seemed to warm my insides, starting at my core and then spreading throughout my body. I just stared at her for a moment, seemingly frozen by her beauty until her warm, attentive gaze met mine and her eyes lit up.
"Katsuki!" She called, waving a hand to motion me to come over.
The spell was broken and I was able to move again. As I approached the table, her eyes stayed locked on me, her smile overpoweringly bright and cheerful. There was no trace of awkwardness or doubt there. The feeling of confusion must have been written all over my face because as I sat down next to Y/n, Mina commented, "What's with that look, Bakugo? You mad about something?"
I glared at her in response. "No, I'm just fuckin tired."
She held up her hands in a surrendering gesture as she averted her eyes and focused on the meal in front of her, muttering, "He's all yours, Y/n."
"You didn't sleep well last night?" Y/n asked, her hand coming to rest on my forearm.
The feel of her touch sent my mind spinning back to flashes of memory from the previous night. My hands on her thigh. Her tongue slipping into my mouth as her hands gripped the sides of my face. The way she had moved ever so slightly, so that I felt the heat of her rubbing against me.
"Bakugo, you okay?" Kirishima said, as he approached with a tray of food. "Your face is really red."
"He's blushing!" Mina squealed and at the sound of her shrill voice I stood quickly, knocking the table as I did so, before slamming my hands down, making it shake further.
"I'm not blushing," I growled, giving her a murderous stare.
"Are you feeling okay?" Y/n asked, her small voice breaking through the silence.
When I looked over at her, the green of her eyes seemed to shine with concern as she waited for a response. I searched those eyes for any sign of acknowledgement of what happened the previous night but found none. She either had a damn good poker face or what had happened last night was just a lucid sex dream and I had bigger issues on my hand.
