Authors note: THANK YOU FOR BEING PATIENT! And thank you for all the congrats on Chapter 100, it's so crazy to think that I started this book over a year ago! My intent is to give this story a proper ending eventually (as well as my Shinso story) but life was starting to get busy and hard. A fun update is I got a tattoo to help cope with my emotions - would highly recommend, was 10/10 just what I needed! When I first started reading fanfics on Wattpad one of my biggest pet peevs was when I was really into a story and it never got finished, so know that I plan on seeing this through to the end it may just take a bit of time. Love you all and hope you enjoy!

"Stop that," Katsuki said, swatting at my hand.

It wasn't until he said this that I realized I had been biting my nails. Lacing my fingers together, I clasped my hands in front of me to stop myself from fidgeting and shot him a nervous smile.

"I just wish they would tell us who passed already and get it over with." I said, my eyes moving towards the giant blank screen behind the makeshift stage we were currently standing in front of. Katsuki surprised me when he didn't respond with a snarky comment, but rather kept his eyes focused on me, his expression calmer than I would have anticipated. When I turned my attention back to him, I blurted, "Seriously? You're not nervous at all about passing?"

"Tch," He scoffed, averting his eyes. "Of course not."

His words were confident, arrogant even, but I suspected that the reason he looked away is because I would have seen the briefest flash of doubt in his eyes. I was about to respond to him when out of the corner of my eye I noticed the haggard looking man from earlier begin making his way onto the stage. His shuffle towards the podium was painfully slow and I urged the nervous stirring within me to calm down. I focused on taking a deep, steady breath in through my nose and then slowly releasing it through my mouth. It momentarily brought a serene feeling of zen coursing through me, but when the man finally made it to the podium and began absently shuffling papers as though to kill time I tightened the grip of my hands to satisfy my urge to suddenly break something.

"Well, the results are in." His bored voice sounded over the loud speaker, resulting in an immediate hush falling over the crowd of students. "The names of those who passed are listed here in alphabetical order. Keep my words in mind as you search the screen for your name."

The screen lit up with a fairly long list of names and I quickly began scanning the list for the N's. And then I saw it: Nakano Y/n. It felt as though I had been holding my breath and hadn't realized it as a wave of relief washed over me. I immediately looked over to Katsuki, my grin feeling as though it would split my face apart, and I saw a rare smile stretching across his face, his eyes still glued to the screen. It was beautiful and unguarded and I knew in that moment without needing to check that he had passed as well.

"I told you I didn't have a reason -" He was interrupted as I threw my arms around his neck and held him tightly.

Nuzzling my face into his neck I murmured, "I'm so happy we both passed."

"Awww, look at these lovebirds!" My eyes were squeezed shut but I recognized the voice as Kaminari's. "Honestly though, I'm kind of surprised you passed, Bakugo. You were pretty mean to the first person we came across."

Katsuki's arm firmly wrapped around my waist as he lifted me off the ground slightly so he could turn in the direction of Kaminari's voice without breaking the hug. I heard the familiar crackle of his quirk being activated as I assumed he lifted his other hand to point at Kaminari.

"Do you want to die before you can even use your hero license?!" He barked, his deep voice reverberating in my ear.

I chuckled as I loosened my grip and opened my eyes. As my feet hit the floor, I pulled back to look up at Katsuki and there was an adorable blush fading from his cheeks as he avoided my eyes. At the expense of being blasted myself, I whispered, "You're blushing."
