I felt a cold, scratchy sensation on my cheek as I started to gain consciousness. As my eyelids fluttered open, my blurred vision slowly became clear as I lifted my head and took in my surroundings. I was lying on a cement floor in a small, dimly lit room. I felt cold metal wrapped around my wrists behind my back as I tried to bring my hands forward. Grunting in discomfort as I wiggled my body around to get into a sitting position, something caught my eye after I was finally able to sit up. Lifting my gaze to the ceiling, I squinted as I tried to get a better look at the corner of the room when there was a small flash of red again, disappearing as quickly as it had appeared.

"What the fuck?"

I felt a chill run down my spine as I realized it was a camera. My head whipped around the room as I desperately searched for something else that could help me figure out where the hell I was or what had happened that led to me getting here. The room was empty and despite the door looking sturdy and immovable, I found myself scrambling to my feet and kicking my foot hard against it. The door barely moved, but when it did I heard a slight jingle.

When I paused to think for a moment, all I could hear was the deafening sound of my own heavy breathing as my mind raced.

"Hello?!" I yelled. "Can anyone hear me?!"

My screams quickly died down and were replaced with a flurry of kicks to the door as I tried to break it down but it continued to hold firm.

What the hell happened? Why do I not remember...

Suddenly I felt cold as my memories started to come back. Katsuki leading me outside, down the darkened path. Telling me he had a surprise. And then nothing but a black abyss of nothingness.

I hadn't realized that I was sobbing until I found myself crumpled on the floor in a corner of the room. My wrists ached from whatever contraption was digging into them to keep my hands tied behind my back. It took me a moment to realize that I had heard a click, followed by the door creaking open slowly. I scrambled to my feet as a man walked into the room. The first thing I noticed was the discolored skin running from the middle of his face down his neck. Although I'd never seen this person, there was a sense of familiarity that I couldn't quite place.

A smirk took over his expression as he seemed to just observe me for a moment.

Pain. Without a second thought I urged him to be overcome with the most overwhelming and crippling pain I had ever projected. However, his expression didn't change and the smirk began to shift into a full blown grin.

"Damn," He said, his low voice filling the room as he began closing the distance between us. "I was kind of hoping your quirk would actually work. It's been ages since I've felt anything but dead inside."

Frozen in fear and shock, I watched as he strolled over to me and gripped my arm, yanking me forward and out into the hallway. It was a cramped, dingy hallway with more concrete walls surrounding us. I stole a glance at the man and just as my eyes caught the set of keys jingling on his belt he spoke again.

"Don't even think about trying anything funny,"

I felt head radiating off of the hand gripping me, warm at first and then quickly raising to a scorching temperature. I screeched, squeezing my eyes shut as I felt my legs giving out on me. The heat was gone in an instant but the burn of it still tingled my skin.

The man didn't break stride and turned back to me, his clear, ocean blue eyes practically dancing as he said, "I've always been a fan of playing with fire." As he turned back to continue leading me down the hall I heard him say more quietly, almost to himself, "Unlike my brother."
