Tin was driving his car with Carla in the passenger's seat. Tin's mother informed them that they have an interview today about their engagement. He refused to have an interview first, saying excuses like he was very much busy with business meetings and paperwork nowadays, but his mother was too persistent, so he finally gave in and said yes. They were gonna have to announce their engagement to the public sooner or later anyway. It was a must to announce their engagement to the public. Not that the public would care anyway, but it was for the sake of their families' reputation.

Carla was wearing a black-and-gray dress with bold square prints that perfectly hugged the curve of her waist. She paired it with simple drop earrings and a dainty watch, as well as blue strappy heels that added a bit of pizzazz to her outfit. Her hair was curled in loose waves and her lips were painted in the shade of a neutral color. She looked regal and classy, simple yet fashionable, it was her style. She could make any man turn their head with anything she wore. While Tin was looking elegant and sophisticated in his black three-piece suit that was paired with a classic dress watch.

They looked so good together. It was like they were a match made in heaven. It was like a fairytale, and it wouldn't be a surprise if there were actually people who follow the news about them being together. Although their relationship was not unknown to the public, they were keeping a low profile about it because Carla doesn't want the paparazzi to follow her everywhere she goes and hunt for some juicy gossips about their relationship. And Tin, he was just a naturally low-key type of person. He also wanted to have his privacy and peace.

Now that they were gonna announce their engagement, it would definitely be the talk of the town for a long time. It does not only mean that those who followed their love story would finally have their sweet "they live happily ever after" fantasy fulfilled, but it would also be a piece of big news in the business world. Their marriage would mean that Tin's family business and Carla's were gonna merge. Their businesses would dominate the business world. That was one of the reasons why their family insisted that they should announce their engagement to the public, for show-off. If Tin was the one to be asked, he would rather want to have a very simple wedding with a very few guests. But their family wanted a grand wedding with lots of guests that he doesn't even talk to or know personally.

"I have to find a new driver," Carla said out of the blue.

Tin glanced at her shortly then returned his eyes on the road.

"Why?" he asked with a frown.

"Can wants to quit his job because of you," she replied casually.

A lopsided smirk crawled on his lips.

"What? He's not over me yet?" he said arrogantly.

Carla scoffed in her seat. "I don't know. He looks like he was afraid of you. Maybe you were the one at fault, not him. And you just twisted your story so I would be on your side."
