"Tomorrow's my birthday, you should come to my birthday party," Ian told Prince and Ley as he handed them an invitation card each. He personally went to Ley and Prince to give them the invitation because they were his best friends, he was with his nanny, standing outside Prince's house.
Ley's eyes widened in astonishment as she looked at the invitation card she was holding.
"Why didn't you tell us earlier? We don't have enough time to make some birthday gift for you now," she said with a pout.
"Yes. You should have told us the last time we were playing," Prince agreed.
"It's okay. You don't have to give me any gift," Ian replied.
"But it's your birthday, we should give you a gift," Ley reasoned.
Prince turned to her and whispered something in her ear, making her quickly nod her head with a wide grin plastered on her face. Ian just stood there while looking at them, he did not hear what Prince had whispered to Ley.
"What are you whispering to each other?" Ian asked curiously.
Both Ley and Prince quickly turned to him and shook their heads roughly.
"Nothing," Prince answered.
Ian nodded his head even though he knew that Prince had whispered something to Ley.
"Okay, then. Wear something green tomorrow because that's the theme of the party. We'll head home now. I just came to give you that invitation personally."
After that, they all bid their goodbyes. As soon as Ian got inside their car with his nanny, Ley and Prince immediately ran towards the house. They were gonna make a birthday present for their friend.

The day ended without Tin appearing in front of their house with his apology gifts. Can had been looking occasionally in the door's direction for the entire day, unconsciously waiting for a soft knock from the man, but it already turned night and the said knock wasn't heard.
He released a breath that he didn't know he was holding in.
It was a sigh of relief for him.
Maybe Tin had already understood what he wanted. Maybe his life would be back to normal, without someone shoving money on his face every single day, without someone pestering him again and again, without someone interrupting his peacefulness.
It was what he wanted.
He never wanted to but his head just involuntarily turned towards the door's direction again, staring hard at it as if a head would pop out of it.
His mind was blank but he felt something strange inside of him, he couldn't put a name to it. Most of the time, he would just feel something he doesn't know the name of. It had been happening for quite a while already. But he just shoved it all deep inside him, not wanting to think about the things that he shouldn't be thinking about in the first place anyway.
