It was a nice sunny day so Can decided to be productive and do their laundry because his boss still hadn't contacted him yet.

He was still in the middle of doing their laundry when a knock was heard on the door.

"Ley, can you open up the door, sweetie?" Can asked in a loud voice because Ley was in the living room. He was expecting it to be Prince's mom or any of their neighbor because Paul was now at his work, and Paul doesn't knock on the door, he just gets inside their house like it was his own.

"Yes, Pa," Ley replied. Then, she went to the door to look who was there.

"Ian! Uncle Pete!" she exclaimed when she recognized the people outside.

Can heard Ley, so he immediately left the laundry and went to the living room to see if it really was Pete and Ian.

When he reached the living room, Pete was already sitting on the couch, and Ian and Ley were already on the floor playing with toys.

As soon as Pete saw Can, he instantly bowed his head as a sign of greeting. Can sat on the couch in front of Pete while wiping his hands full of bubbles on his shirt.

"Good morning, Can," Pete politely greeted.

Can just nodded his head.

"Uhm, I'm sorry for coming here unannounced again. I just figured that I don't have your number yet that's why I was not able to send you a message that we're coming here," Pete explained.

Again, Can just nodded his head, still not wanting to talk to Pete. Pete was Tin's best friend when they were in college and it was not impossible that he was still best friends with Tin up until now.

"What do you want?" Can asked disdainfully. He doesn't want to sound disrespectful because Pete had done nothing wrong to him, but he just couldn't control his emotions.

"Uhm, we're here to ask if Ley could go to our house, so the kids could play there. You said that they're not allowed to play in the playground anymore, so I thought maybe they could play at our house instead," Pete requested hesitantly.

Ley immediately came to Can's side when she heard that her Uncle Pete was asking her Pa's permission for her to go to their house, while Ian went to his daddy's side. Ley looked at Can with her puppy dog eyes. She had been very excited to go to her friend's house since that day Ian had invited her when they were still playing in the playground. But it never happened because of many reasons, either Ian's parents were busy or Can was at work. But now that Ian's daddy was with him, they could go to their house to play. Ian told her that he would let her play with his video games, and they would watch cartoons in their cinema room.

Can looked at Ley with unnerving eyes. He doesn't want Ley to go to Pete's house.

When Can returned his cold gaze to Pete, he said, "No. I won't let Ley go to your house."
