"Aren't you forgetting something?" Carla asked Tin without looking at him. She was having her breakfast while Tin was already preparing to go to his company.

"No," he replied shortly, feeling strange that Carla was suddenly asking him something unusual, but he shoved it away.

"Okay," she answered back and continued eating.

After that, he went to his car and drove to his company. He had a weird feeling that something was strange with Carla because she doesn't usually ask him about those things but he just thought that maybe Carla was worried that he might be a little disoriented after everything that happened.

He had a business meeting with the boards of directors again. Even though he wanted to take a leave first for his wounds to heal, he couldn't just abandon his responsibilities in their company.

The employees looked at him confusedly, hearing some of their faint gossips but he ignored them. He doesn't care anyway.

When he entered his office, he immediately started his works. Checking first the documents that were lying on his desk, waiting to be signed. After that, he grabbed his bag and searched for his flash drive that contained his presentation, he made sure that he brought it with him this time.

But it was not in there. He remembered he put it in the side pocket of his bag but it was nowhere to be found.

Then it just clicked to him.

Carla.

His jaw tightened as he remembered how Carla asked her if he forgot something when he was on his way here. He should've had known that she was up to something wicked.

Immediately grabbing his phone that was lying on his desk, he called Carla.

"Carla!" Tin's loud voice was the first thing she heard as soon as she answered the call, that she had to take her phone away from her ear.

"What?" she innocently asked when she was sure that Tin wouldn't yell at her again, bringing the phone back to her ear, but a wicked smirk was present on her face.

"Don't 'what' me. You know why I'm calling," Tin replied, annoyance visible in his voice.

She let out a soundless chuckle.

"I don't know why you're calling, Tin," she continued her teasing.

"Fuck, Carla. Quit pestering me."
