A week after that early morning when Tin knocked on their door and knelt down in front of him, Tin never bothered him again. Maybe Tin figured out that it was better that he stayed out of Can's life. And because of that, Can had never felt so peaceful yet uneasy at the same time.

It felt like a dream.

Even if he tried to get it off his mind, Tin's confession still crawled into his thoughts. He asked himself if Tin was really telling the truth or if the scene Tin created last time was just a sick scheme of Tin to try to fool him and believe that what Tin had done to him was justifiable by the man's reasons. It was confusing as hell.

He even looked online for the side effects of taking drugs and he read some articles saying that drugs could really cause someone to forget things. But it still doesn't make sense to him how come Tin did not remember it the day after. He was sure that the punches he landed on Tin's face and body that night was enough to cause him some kind of pain that would make him remember things, but he didn't.

Tin taking drugs never came across his mind, even in his wildest dreams. It was impossible. But he guessed everything was possible. One couldn't really expect people to live up to their expectation of reality. It was absurd. People had their choices. And Tin chose to break him.

His trust, his dreams, his life, and his heart.

It was all left shattered into million pieces after that horrendous night at Tin's old apartment.

Maybe it was better that Tin would be gone from his life. Moreover, he still had a month left before he could quit his current job and find another one. He just realized that it happened again, that he was gonna lose his job again, not being able to keep a stable job for at least six months.

His resume would be full of his working experiences, but it would be disadvantageous for him because most of them were short-lived. The recent one being the shortest. He barely had that job for more than two months. But this time, he was not fired because he punched somebody, it was him who decided to quit his job.

As he thought harder about it, questions started to form after the other. All of them were adding to his growing confusion about whether to believe Tin or not.

His boss was another thing that kept messing with his head. And he asked himself why was he bothering himself with other people's businesses, but he couldn't help it. Carla never messaged him to pick her up from that house he drove her to, it had been more than a week now, she said she would message him after a week but she didn't.
