It was already dark when Can, Tin, and Ley decided to stay in an open space where they could wait for the others. Tin texted Pete and Carla to meet them there, so they could watch the fireworks show altogether. Even though he wanted to watch it with Can and Ley alone, he figured that maybe he was already taking up too much of their time, Can didn't even get the chance to enjoy the day with his boyfriend. He wondered how Paul would react to it.

He was currently carrying Ley in his arms because she was too exhausted with all the rides they rode. Can suggested that he should be the one to carry Ley but Ley was the one who said that she wanted Tin to carry her, so Can wasn't able to do anything about it. He was fine with it anyway. Having Ley in his arms felt so good and right like it was just natural. Maybe he was just delusional, but he felt like he already held a place in Ley's heart, the same as how she had a place in his. Ley was an angel, who wouldn't fall in love with her cuteness and smartmouth? Her magnetic field was too strong, everybody would just naturally be drawn to her.

It didn't take long before the others arrived and stood beside them, waiting for the fireworks show to start.

"Where did you go?" Can asked Paul, who was now beside him.

"Anywhere your boss dragged me to," Paul casually replied.

"I see. Had fun with her?"

"I was forced to."

Can chuckled then turned his head up, looking at the night sky.

"Why is he carrying Ley?" Paul asked without looking at Can.

"Ley wants to be carried by him," Can replied to which Paul answered with a nod.

The fireworks show started not long after, shining up the night sky with their colorful lights and designs. Some were in the form of hearts, flowers, cartoon characters, and more. To which Ley wasn't able to enjoy because she was already sound asleep in Tin's shoulder. The splendid explosion created by the fireworks was shining over them.

While looking up at the sky, Can suddenly felt something warm draped over his shoulder. The soothing warmth enveloped him as the familiar scent lingered in his nose. When he looked at his side, he saw Paul wrapped his jacket around him, a gentle hand snaked at the small of his back.

"Hey, you don't have to," Can said as he turned to Paul.

"It's fine. I know that you easily feel cold," Paul stared back at him and offered a sweet smile.

It wasn't like it was the first time that Paul had draped his jacket around his shoulder when they were out at night. It was actually a habit, Paul would always do that.

"Thanks," Can muttered and smiled back at him.

Paul's hand stayed on his back but he didn't say anything about it. The soothing feeling of his light hand was relaxing and calming. As the fireworks continued to light up the sky, Can felt the tiredness crawling inside him, and he leaned his head on Paul's shoulder. With the loud sounds coming from the fireworks, Paul's loud heartbeat was clear to him, feeling like a million stars had just aligned in the sky. It was peaceful.
