Seven in the morning.

Tin arrived at Can's house at exactly seven in the morning. He brought breakfast with him that he especially asked their chef to cook for him. It was Carla's idea. She said that he had to make a good impression on Can. He snorted at it first, but went along with it in the end, thinking that maybe Can would accept it because it was food. He remembered how Can used to tell him that money couldn't buy him, but gave in easily to foods.

When he knocked on the door, Ley was the one who opened it.

"Uncle Tin!" she exclaimed as soon as she recognized him.

"Hello, Ley," he greeted back with a small smile.

"Why are you here?"

He was about to answer her when Can suddenly showed up from behind her.

What he saw stunned him for a moment. It was the sight of Can in his round specs. It was the first time he saw Can wearing glasses, and it perfectly suited the man.

"Fuck," he cursed in his mind as his eyes never seemed to want to leave that beautiful sight.

"I almost thought you're not gonna come here," Can said in a flat tone, pulling him out of admiring the man's face.

"I... of course, I would come here," he replied awkwardly. "I brought breakfast."

He showed them the paper bag that contained the dishes he asked the chef to prepare.

Can frowned at that.

"You didn't have to. This will be the last time that you'll bring anything for us. We cook our foods here."

"I just thought that maybe you would accept this because it's not money, it's food."

"I'll only accept it just because I don't want to waste food. But this is the last time," Can glared at him, then widely opened the door to let him in.

A small smile appeared on his lips at the thought of his little victory, but he made a mental note not to listen to Carla's ideas again.

That smile disappeared as soon as he saw another man sitting at the dining table, and was replaced by a slight frown.

He should've known that Can's boyfriend would also be here.

What the fuck was he thinking? That he could have Can and his daughter all to himself?

He saw how Paul side-eyed him and his jaw clenched at that.

"Daddy Paul, Uncle Tin's here to eat with us!" Ley informed the man.

Paul stood up from his seat, offering a hand to him. He wasn't gonna accept it if not for Can's glares thrown at him. The handshake only lasted for a millisecond.

"Give me that," Can nodded his head on the paper bag he was holding. He immediately gave the said bag to Can.

"Let me help you with that," Paul quickly offered and they headed to the kitchen. While he was left dumbfounded on his ground.
