💜 Star Shower 💜

Context: You and Belphegor had plans to go see the star shower together. Unfortunately, he overslept and you both missed it. . .

(M|n) let out a groan of fatigue, hanging half off of the sofa in the lounge. His muscles were screaming for rest. At first, he ignored his body, but finally decided to give into its demands when he fell to the floor. The human was trying out a new fitness routine introduced to him by Beelzebub.

He thought that he would easily be able to do it. . . However, his body protested when he only did a few stretches.

"Ugh, I need to work out more often. . ." (M|n) mumbled to himself before letting out a big sigh. Despite his words, he knew that he would never try this again.

(M|n) jolted when his D.D.D. vibrated. It was close-by, on the coffee table. It scared him so much he fell off the sofa and hit the floor.

He grunted. Whilst slumped on the ground, he reached out for the device. He finally managed to make a grab for it. He unlocked his D.D.D. and went to his messages. Belphie had messaged him. Curiously, he opened the messages up.

Belphie: About that star shower. . .

Belphie: Would you be interested in seeing it?

(M|n)'s fingers halted on his D.D.D.'s keyboard as he stared at the message. Star shower?. . . Oh! He remembered now. Not too long ago, he was talking to both Belphie and Beel, and they told him about it. A star shower was a natural phenomenon that could only be seen from a mountaintop on the edge of the Devildom, and according to Belphie, it was dubbed the star shower because of the golden raindrops that supposedly shined like stars.

(M|n) grinned at the thought of being able to go with Belphegor to see it. He replied to the message.

(M|n): I'm really interested.

Belphie: I thought you would say that.

Belphie: What if I told you we could go see it?

Belphie: It's almost that time of year when the star shower appears.

Belphie: It'll be a bit of a hike to the viewing spot, but would you like to go together?

(M|n): Of course!!

(M|n) couldn't contain his excitement. He could already imagine the scene right now. That one picture that Beelzebub showed him of the last time the demon brothers went together to see it showed him just how awesome it could be up-close.

Belphie: I think you'll like it a lot.

Belphie: It'll be something to look forward to.

(M|n) bit on his lower lip, his joy simmering down a bit. Did Belphie want them going alone, or did he want others to join? Maybe he was planning to invite Beel too. . .  He had to ask.

(M|n): Is Beelzebub joining us?

There was silence on the other side for quite some time. Did Belphie fall asleep?. . . When he thought that the other had drifted off whilst texting, he replied.

Belphie: Ah. . . I haven't asked him yet.

(M|n): I'll ask him then!

Coincidentally, just as he wrote this, Beelzebub entered the room with a cream puff in hand, which was most likely from his favourite pastry store in the Devildom. (M|n) skipped over to him, ignoring the stiffness in his joints.
