💞 Not Just a Crush 💞

Context: You've had feelings for Simeon for as long as you can remember. You tried many times to reveal your feelings to him, but everything you attempted to do to show him your love, he always ended up misinterpreting them. When will he finally understand that you like him more than just a friend?

(M|n)'s eyes were filled with determination as he aggressively stirred the cookie mixture in the huge, plastic mixing bowl. He couldn't afford to fail now! All his other attempts at getting Simeon to see him more than just a friend had gone into vain. He had to make these cookies the most attractive ones in all of the three realms.

Luke looked on at him with weary eyes. His hands halted rolling his own dough. It took him a moment or two to ask what was on his mind. "(M|n), are you doing okay? I don't think you're supposed to mix it like that. . ." He mumbled worriedly.

(M|n)'s hands immediately came to a stop. He hadn't realised just how madly he'd been stirring until Luke pointed it out. He turned to look at the angel with a big, fake grin.

"I'm totally alright! I just want to make sure that these cookies turn out the best they can be. . ." (M|n) murmured. How oblivious could Simeon be?! (M|n) had tried so many times to hint at Simeon that he liked him a lot, however, the angel always mistook his gestures of genuine affection for acts of friendship.

He wished he could be more open with his feelings but it was hard, especially when Simeon didn't get it. . . Maybe the angel didn't feel anything but friendly affection for him?. . . (M|n)'s mood began to dip. He frowned and put the bowl on the counter before giving himself a few slaps on each cheek to bring himself back to reality.

There was no use dwelling over Simeon's feelings. He felt a certain way for the angel, and in the end he would admit how he felt, no matter how the other felt. If he was rejected then that was okay. He'd obviously need some time to recuperate but at least he tried.

Luke was staring at him in even more concern now due to his odd actions and he reached out, latching onto his sleeve.

"Are you making this for one of the demons? Is that why you seem so mad?" (M|n) wondered what he should tell Luke. He opened his mouth, about to tell the younger that it was Simeon he was baking these cookies for, but then he pressed his lips into a thin line. His cheeks felt warm at just the thought of admitting to Luke about his feelings towards Simeon.

He shook his head. "No, I just want to make some perfect cookies!" He exclaimed. Luke seemed unconvinced but he thankfully didn't question him any further and went back over to his dough, continuing to roll it out. (M|n) sighed softly in relief before returning to his own baking.

"You better understand what I'm getting at, Simeon. . ." (M|n) snapped to himself as he began mixing again.

Today was the day. . . (M|n) gulped as he laid stomach down on his bed. His stomach was slowly being flooded with butterflies as he constantly thought over what he was going to be doing. He'd never done such a thing before. In the human world not once had he ever admitted his feelings to his numerous different crushes. Usually, the crushes went away within a few weeks. However, his feelings towards Simeon were different. He didn't just have a crush on the angel, it was so much more than that. . .

He dared to think that he might even love the angel. Simeon was always there for him, no matter what. He'd never met someone so kind and caring like Simeon. He knew that obstacles stood in their way because of the fact that (M|n) was a human, and the latter was an angel, but they'd sort something out. . . That is if Simeon even felt anything towards him.
