Context: You and Lucifer have a son, Finn. You plan to go to the zoo together, but you're feeling slightly sick, which might put a damper on your plans yet again. . .

(M|n) awoke to this nauseous feeling yet again. How many nights had he felt like this since his pregnancy? He'd lost count in all honesty. His stomach was churning, and his head was throbbing. The poor human gripped his aching temples as he stared at his beloved son and lover, who were asleep beside him.

A small smile formed on his lips as he gazed lovingly at his son. His pain was momentarily forgotten as he reached out and cupped the young child's warm cheek. Finn squirmed at the touch and shifted around a bit on the bed before getting comfortable again.

The half-demon was a year and a half now. Despite his age, Lucifer still insisted that the baby sleep with them, concerned that something may happen to the child in their absence. (M|n) didn't mind Lucifer's decision too much because it meant that he got to spend more time sleeping with his baby boy.

Finn had been an unexpected pregnancy. (M|n) didn't think it would be possible for him to fall pregnant. . . Much to his dismay, Lucifer shared the news with him that when it came to demons, human males were not exempt from pregnancy.

The (h|c)-haired male let out a sigh, fighting the urge to hurl. Whenever he was sick, he always felt weak after, and couldn't move a muscle. Finn's zoo trip had been planned for so long, but every time he had to let his son down because of how sick he felt.

He didn't want the same thing to happen again. He wanted Finn to have fun outings, without his health getting in the way.

(M|n) pressed a hand against his mouth, trying his absolute best to keep this feeling at bay. Alas, it wasn't that easy to keep down vomit. He could no longer hold it in. He grabbed the thick blanket that covered him and he threw it off. He stumbled out of the bedroom. He tripped on a few of Finn's toys on the way. This boy really needed to learn to clean up!

He burst into the bathroom, not bothering to turn on the light. He fell to his knees, too sick to feel the pain as they made harsh impact with the cold bathroom floor. He vomited out everything. His dinner, his late night snack. . . He couldn't stop, even if he wanted to.

(M|n) was startled by the sound of soft footfall, and then the light turning on. "(M|n). . . Are you being sick again?" Lucifer queried. (M|n) shook his head as he wiped his mouth, but he couldn't hide the truth.

He fell beside the toilet once he felt like nothing else would come out. Lucifer hurried over and knelt in front of him. The demon apologised to him all of a sudden, making him giggle. He groaned when he laughed. It hurt his stomach so much.

Lucifer placed a big hand on his lover's small bump as he nuzzled the side of (M|n)'s head.

"I'm the reason you're suffering. I wanted another child, and because of that, you have to go through all this again." (M|n) tried not to laugh again. Lucifer had become such a softie ever since they got together.

With Lucifer's help, he got to his feet. "Don't say that. I wanted a second child just as much as you wanted to have one. I'll gladly go through this pain if it means that a new life will enter this world. Don't blame yourself for something so silly." Lucifer sighed at (M|n)'s words.

He washed the other's mouth and face as he whispered, "I don't know how I ended up getting so lucky." (M|n) gave him a meek smile.

"Me neither. . ." (M|n) lent against Lucifer as he led him back to their bedroom, each step adding a new strain to his body. (M|n) knew that right about now, Lucifer would bring up the zoo and whether they should go.
