Context: You're a very clingy boyfriend and do not notice that this clinginess of yours is beginning to irritate Belphie. One night, he swats your hand away during dinner, which both startles and confuses you, and due to your confusion about his actions, you begin to avoid Belphegor until the demon has had enough of the distance!

Belphegor slept in his bed like always, his face buried into his soft pillow. His chest slowly rose and fell as his mouth hung open. The demon was so deep in sleep he didn't hear his door creak open.

"Belphie, there you are!" Shouted an all-too-familiar voice. That voice cut across the room, breaking the silence, and it woke up Belphegor. With a grumble, the demon cracked open one eye, clearly irritated.

"Who. . ." The demon started but then he trailed off when he recognised the person stood at his bedside. "(M|n), what is it?" Belphegor queried sleepily. He thought he might finally get some peace and quiet. . .

"I couldn't find you anywhere after RAD lessons finished! I looked everywhere, and now I've finally found you." Belphegor stared blearily at the human, not knowing how to respond. Admittedly, he wanted some time to sleep alone. It wasn't because he didn't like (M|n) per se. . . It was just that the human had been really clingy lately.

No matter where he went, (M|n) was at his side, grabbing onto his upper arm and not letting go. Even when they sat and ate, even when they were in RAD, (M|n)'s behaviour did not change. Belphegor was delighted to know that (M|n) loved him a lot to do this but he just wished that the other wouldn't cling so much. . .

(M|n) was never clingy like this when they weren't dating, however, ever since Belphie asked him out, he'd become like this. Belphie didn't mind much at first, but over time, he grew slightly bothered when (M|n)'s clinginess sometimes interfered when he was taking a nap or when he was trying to eat.

He wanted to tell (M|n) about this, but at the same time, he didn't want to hurt the human's feelings. "Can I nap with you?" (M|n) mumbled, twiddling with his thumbs as he popped out the question. The demon nodded his head and shuffled to the side a bit to give his lover some room. Now that he was here, he didn't have the heart to turn him away, and. . . (M|n) wasn't a bad body pillow. He was really warm, which helped warm up the sleepy demon.

"Yay!" (M|n) cheered loudly, making Belphegor grimace. (M|n) was very energetic and sometimes Belphegor couldn't keep up. It was a surprise that (M|n) loved to sleep with him when he was this energetic.

(M|n) joyously dove underneath the covers and he immediately moved over to Belphie. His arms encircled Belphegor's waist and held on tight. The human then proceeded to bury his face into the demon's chest, burrowing into it affectionately. Belphie looked down and he couldn't help but let a small, affectionate smile cross his lips.

His irritation was forgotten as he and (M|n) drifted off to sleep together.

Belphie sighed internally as he head to the dining hall for dinner. Yet again, (M|n) was hanging off of his arm. His face was burrowed into his shoulder and it made it difficult for Belphegor to walk since he was made to keep up with (M|n)'s pace.

Their nap was peaceful once they both fell asleep so Belphegor thought that maybe because of that, he could deal with (M|n)'s clinginess. However, he was beginning to doubt what he initially thought as his irritation grew yet again.
